you know, Apathy-Inc, art does have something to do with TASTE. and every person has his own.

i would not read “runaways” and the good half of marvel comics, cause they have a lot of art that i do think is AWFULL. they (idiots in my option) have killed my favourite character Venom off, through the art and the stories since 1998 till now. he was hillarious till that time, but too many artists and too many wrighters thaught: hey, lets give every couple of issues an other artist a possibility to try it out! so the story disappeared very quick and the art was becomming badder and badder!!! Venom was the coolest character in marvel universe but they degraded him and now he is dead…

Venom is still alive. Hell there’s two Venoms now. Please step away from the keyboard.

… i’m cool with the fact that they are switching up artists for the back stories … that’s fine … i’m just stating that i don’t think that’s really art … i think it’s just deformed … but that’s just me.

I’m really happy that they don’t change the main story art … i would probally stop collecting just because if i continue a story i want to be able to latch on to it … could you imagine if they did that with cartoons? Your watching Justic League and all of a sudden it looks like teen titans, then next week, dexters lab., then ed, edd, and eddy… that is such a turn off.

I like variety … but i also like it when things look like what they’re supposed to “with detail” … the last artist does his style in a way that avoids the need for him to detail his work.

Obviously we’re not talking about the same Udon’s Street Fighter, because they usually have at least 2 different artists on it at all times.
And animation? Nothing that extreme happens but I think you need to watch some of the old Batman Animated series, hell, even DBZ. It’s REALLY obvious when they change animation studios. They may keep a similar style, but they definately don’t keep a similar quality.

No, the last artist does his style that way because that’s his style of doing things. Colorists LOVE that.
I didn’t see you complaining about Josh Middleton. He doesn’t add details or spot blacks either.

Seriously, it’s 4 pages where Udon pays current, popular and talented artists from other companies to showcase their work on Street Fighter.
Saying that it isn’t art is about as retarded as it gets and a nice slap in their face. I’m sure they appreciate taking time out of their regular projects to do something for ingrates like you. :lame:

i am not the biggest fan when it comes to some of the back story art in general but thats only because i prefer a different style. people are over reacting in my book the art is still very good just drawn with the artists personal style.

i would like to say though, since we have seen so much delta red will we see other ending characters like guys teacher or mentor from the alpha 2 ending, akuma vs adon from adons alpha 2 ending.

The only thing i dont like about the comic is having to wait a month for the next issue after you have finished reading the current issue

Wow nice stuff! His pencil work is amazing! It’s a shame that the inking isn’t up to the same quality, tell him he needs a better inker to do his work justice.

I’ve been telling him that forever. Trust me, he knows. Bad inking is the bane of all pencillers.
Witchblade was inked. Which is too bad because I’ve seen the pencils, they’re awesome. I’ve even seen the scrapped pages he drew that got edited or changed. You can see 2 issues of Proximity Effect at the website www.proximity-effect.com. I’m pretty sure that was digitally inked. The coloring wasn’t too swift either…lots of problems there.

It was really humbling to have to sit next to the guy and do the same assignments. I learned a lot from him though. I’m sure he’d draw a smokin’ hot Chun Li and Cammy.

• The art was “Ok” not good, not bad, but it could have been better.

• The Story was cool because it told about muscular memory, but nothing more.

• About the lots of covers/backstory artists, i think it is a cool idea, but Udon should care more about who they call. The cover on some issues looked more like a hentai magazine cover, than a serious one, but at the same time, some arts were incredible good.
  And i even on some issues, like more the art(and the story) of the sidestories.
