Tournament players have 1 hour prior to tournament time for casuals/warm-ups (7pm), otherwise you have to pay the casuals fee.

On that note, in addition to hosting weekly Saturday tournaments, the store is also open every day for casuals during regular store hours.

Casual Stations: $5 for All-Day casuals until you leave (or $2 for 30min.).

Dead or Alive 5
Persona 4 Arena

JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure

*Note: Players who are gone for more than an hour must pay an additional $1 if they return again to play All-Day.

**Note: If a player wishes to change games for a station, they must pay an additional $1 for every switch. This is just to ensure that people are serious about what they want to play so that the owner does not have to go through the hassle of constantly switching games because people want to dip a little into everything.

The store is well located and as such, there are plenty of places to eat, all within walking distance.

Food: (Just to name a few)
Subway
Popeye’s
Starbuck’s
Donut Shop
Wok on the Wildside (Chinese)
3 Pizza Spots (Domino’s, Pizza Hut, Jino’s Pizza)
Ralphs

While on the topic of food, the owner also imports DELICIOUS korean snacks, ice creams, and treats such as Choco-Pies, Samanco and a bunch of other goodies that I can’t even read, so come on out and try them!

Parking:
Easy, Free and Plentiful!

The owner of the store (Danny) is a very enthusiastic guy. Ever since he was a kid, it’s been his dream to open up a place for people not only to come and play games, but more importantly, for them to have a good time. He’s looking to establish a community-based environment in his store for people to feel welcome and to enjoy the atmosphere of DVD AVE. Whether you’re sharing laughs, cracking jokes, talking shit, or making casual conversation, it means a lot to him just seeing people setting a positive tone in his store. So if you’re a fighting-game player looking to get some experience or are just someone stopping by to pick up some Samanco, Danny enjoys meeting new people and welcomes everyone into DVD AVE. with a warm smile!
