Damn…this sucks.
I like Nina Dobrev, but this show has relied on it’s cast as an ensemble for a good while. Does it suck to see her go? Absolutely, but the show won’t live or die creatively because of her character’s absence.
Yeah, this is some old bullshit, man… hopefully The Bulgarian Beauty™ will continue to be famous so we can still “keep tabs” on that fine ass.
Mike Tevino isn’t a surprise to me. His character has been relegated to Yamcha status at this point. Here’s a guy that was once a hybrid and thus one of the top tiers… but the story of this show has been shitting on him ever since then…to the point where it started to become funny to me. I’ll bet some fans forgot that Tyler even existed lately. I was thinking he may have been a better fit over in The Originals, to give Niklaus another enemy to deal with, but he got STOMPED and sent right the fuck home with the quickness when he showed up there last time.
Perhaps my new honey Tristan Mays (“Sarah Salvatore”) could become the main deal in the story then…hopefully? That one is seriously one of the hottest women I’ve ever seen in life…ever. I’d pay good money just to sniff all around her like a dog picking up the scent. She’s absolutely ridiculous in all the right ways.
Elena is probably my least favorite character. Hoping they can keep it things going without her.

Did I just watch a Mortal Kombat storymode? I mean Dahlia is like Shinnok and so forth and so on…
Sheeeit, Dahlia = confirmed top tier status for now, easily…

They managed to create a magically enchanted device to to possibly kill her… and she swiped that shit and destroyed it with the quickness. This character is too awesome.

(*familiar to gamers as the sultry voice of a long list of characters like Cydaea from Diablo 3, Alyn Shir from Kingdoms of Amalur, Sam from Gears of War 3, some character in the recent Dragon Age games, etc. etc)
Yeah, like I said… Who will tak on Dahlia? Someone from The Vampire Diaries may have to go to New Orleans. Bonnie seems more powerful and dark now…

I am about 4-5 episodes back of the Originals in my DVR but I peeped in this thread to see whats up and hear my favorite sci fi series chick Claudia Black is on the show.
That is good enough shit to hear to motivate me to marathon my DVR episodes and put catching up on some other stuff on hiatus.
So i tuned back in after 3 weeks off of vampire diaries, and lol wut. Caroline with her humanity off with stefan with his humanity off. So she is going to die, because she is insufferable with her humanity off, and shes not a liked enough character to bounce back from this. She selfishly turned off her humanity, threatened someones life to force stefan to change, and yeah, shes gonna die this season, cause thats mad shitty.
Mark my words, caroline is dead at the end of this season.
Finally a decent episode of the originals. Not that previous episodes were bad, but this shows been hard to give a fuck about lately, as nothing is really going on.
Vampire diaries while having its issues, usually can maintain my attention, but i feel like the originals is not going anywhere. This dhalia shit is interesting though, and if it wasnt for todays episode, id cool out on the season.
The originals started off as my shit too, and i love a setting in new orleans, but after season 1, it feels like every episode in season 2 gets progressively more uninteresting. Like i said a while ago, the originals needs some new lore. The originals is stuck in like this weird box of shit it cannot get out of, which is what both these shows are kinda about, but vampire diaries is more expansive so far.
Seems like the originals, need an original idea (puts on shades). lol

I forgot if Davina was still super-powerful or not since she hasn’t done much lately besides be a friend to one character and a love-interest for another. I’m assuming they definitely will need her power to even have a real shot at killing Dahlia.
Meanwhile over in TVD we have vampire-witch hybrids now, which should definitely be interesting. I haven’t even thought of that combo before, surprisingly. I wonder if such creatures would be naturally immune to the sunlight damage? (or just enchanting themselves instead of objects like rings?) …“Mother Nature” appears to be a balance in these worlds so they may have some other weakness, perhaps.
