Since our only punish is a measly standing short I decided to see which of our normals/specials beat this move clean. The best one imo is standing mk into quesadilla bomb. If properly timed you will always hit rolento out of the Mekong Delta Attack. Crouching jab also works, but the timing is strict. Far standing roundhouse and cr mk are both unreliable as most often than not they will trade.
Most rolentos try to bait you to block the attack so they can red focus out of it for the counter hit. It’s at -8 so we’d need to hit our reversal buttons fast! Lets not have to make that choice anymore.
