I don’t really even try to punish that shit with anything other then sweet online, too risky to eat hp hands/ EX headbutt cause my connection lagged.

Haven’t played much super lately though, been playing other games, and 3S. Did play around with Knee shot in training mode earlier, but I can’t get the Dummy to react that way I want it too.

Though you guys shouldn’t talk about matchup advice in a Discussion thread.

It was meant to discuss the players not Honda. I can win the match up.

I know I was just fronting loads about how easy I find Zangiefs, so this will seem ironic - I just got knocked out of a French online tournament by a Zangief. I will post the vid later tonight, or possibly tomorrow. Needless to say, I let myself down.

Uhh, Light sobat kick dodges some [most?] low attacks, including low tiger shots at point blank…I thought I saw someone say that there were things EX MGU went through but whenever I try to use it against anything it seems to get stuffed.

LK sobat and EX MGU have some low invincibility on startup, basically has to be perfect timed or lucky but its pretty good. Also EX sobat is good, but sometimes gets stuffed too and is very punishable on block.

They’re good tools if you make the right read. They also have other uses too.

ex mgu does beat some lows but is has lower i frames than lk sobat and its throwable.

lk sobat is unthrowable.

yeah, lk sobat is invincible to most low attacks, and ex sobat has some invincibility frames too.

ex mgu has a few frames full invincibility then it has extended lower body invincibility. It can work really well against people who safe jump you then c.lk, it’s gotten me a lot of free ultras that way

actually according to the hitbox data videos it doesn’t have extended low invincibility.
its the same as his full body. He has full head invincibility (from his shoulders up). It is great against low attacks tho.

I gotta start doing EX MGU against safe-jumps. At the very least it will safely push them away from me. And at the very best I’ll beat out their cr. short and go into dash U2 (in my dreams).

^LK/EX are throw invulnerable on startup, at least I’m pretty sure like 95%.

Also be careful cuz EX MGU is punishable by some chars, like chun or ryu with super and others. Also off of a EX MGU by itself it should be easy enough to just walk U2 instead of dash.

Anybody know what the numbers for frame advantage after a FADC’ed MK/HK Sobat’s first hit are on block/hit?

if i watched correctly hitbox data of deejay :
LK sobat - 10 frames invulnerable to low on startup
ex sobat - 7 full invul + 4 projectile invul on startup
all sobats - have throw invul 11 frames on startup

LK and MK jacknife maximum - 6 invul on startup (can be throw)
HK jacknife doenst have invul
EX Jacknife - 4 invul on startup + 4 on active frames (full invul)

     EX machinegunupper - 4 full invul on startup and looks like projectile (it means absorb projectile)

I’ve been using HP as an anti-air a lot lately, and I noticed that sometimes, when it hits as an AA on CH, there will be a VERY high launch. Anyone know what can be comboed off of it?
