that should work on nearly the whole cast and it works as a nice crossover; also if the EX M.G.U isn’t coming out after the cr.Mp you may have to adjust the timing at which you do the EX M.G.U
i will admit that getting the cr.Lp, cr.Mp link is kind of hard (not to mention actually landing the Dash U2), but cr.Lp links after j.Mk and the cr.Mp gives you enough time to fully charge for a EX M.G.U
That’s what I use pretty much, except I stopped doing the c.mp and just do cr.Lp, cr.Lp instead because I think anyone can 100% that. Last thing I want to worry about is the cr.Lp to cr.Mp link when I need to land the dash ultra.
Screw you guys and your freakn dash Ultra. Everytime I have the opportunity to do dash Ultra I do Ex sobat…I like to save that revenge meter…Yea…dats my excuse.
I like close st.mk, far st.mkxxsobat …Junk flows like butta.
like i said i know it’s hard enough as is, but the payoff is getting an extra 48/43 damage added to the start up of the initial combo (without adding extra hits).
My sanwa JLF was going a bit mushy on inputs so I swapped to an LS-32-01, which has a shorter throw. Makes a noticeable difference with dash ultra in particular.
Like I said though my JLF was wearing out so it could just be the fact it’s a new stick helping out, but i’m 100% confident in landing this even online with the seimitsu.
Its funny you say that, I was playing on a HRAP EX-SE (all Seimitsu parts) and I could only do the dash Ultra if I was on the right. That stick broke. I’m waiting on my HRAP VX VE (all Sanwa) and Im hoping the stick is a better look for me.
DugTheFreshest: Dude, wow, I can’t tell you how much your vid helped. I apologize to anyone if I missed this hint, but your trick of after the dash jamming the joystick down-back then jamming it up-forward really quick has made all the difference in the world. I, too, was trying to roll it from forward all the way back and up and could never get it. Thank you so much man.
Thanks friend. Last question: do you quickly reset the d-pad right after the EX MGU starts, or do you smoothly roll back to the DB position??? I did the setup ONCE but it happened so fast that I forgot if I did anything special for it, lol.
i go straight to db. its a stick habit as well. i don’t think that’s the important part. the charge is the easiest thing to get. dash timing and the correct motion after the dash are the most important things.
if you guys lived in my area i would go physically help you. i think its the best way to have somebody sit behind you and let you know what you’re doing wrong. it helped me with other combos in non SF games.
