Make him play like HDR with EX moves and two Ultras. It’s a no brainer, he’s already awesome.

i always thought deejay was considered a low tier character in ST but ill give him a shot since hes a charge character and all.
It’s not an impossible matchup, but it definitely seems like an uphill battle.
As a DeeJay player, fighting Blanka is basically c.strong repeatedly to beat everything that isn’t a jump-in, Upkick jump-ins, and MaxOut if they start looking too comfortable. It’s the c.strong that does it, honestly. It beats slide, ball, c.fierce, c.roundhouse…basically Blanka’s entire ground game loses to this one move.
If Blanka manages to jump in on a DeeJay who’s caught without charge, though, that DeeJay will probably eat a combo or block string to bite. S.strong and DeeJay’s other normal move anti-airs don’t generally work against Blanka’s jumping attacks.
It’s not much but the SSF4 Blog has DJ’s artwork in it as well.
Haha exactly my thoughts. I hope he wont be god tier, or way top tier TBH. I heard he has beast normals, beats specials that can all link into ultra or super. A beast crossup.

So happy to see Dee Jay is in the game. I like bison alot but not having a projectile creates problems for me here and there. Gonna main Dee Jay but won’t give up on Bison. I hope Dee Jay’s recovery is faster than Guile’s also. B F B F super please.

If you like that combo, you should try crossup MK, crouching jab, crouching fierce xx Machine gun upper (piano/mash all 3 punches like crazy). It’s 7 hits, but it rarely needs to get past the 4th or 5th to stun. Nobody can stand up to it, and if you land it you can follow up with cross up MK, crouching jab x2 xx HK upkicks, and then juggle them with 2 hits of the super before they land for a knockout.
Jesus.If they make the most of FADC and ultra cancelling for him in SSFIV deejay will be a monster:lovin: I hope they keep his crossup potential. Landing a single crossup MK with him in ST/HDR means it’s game over. I have a feeling he’ll be a victim of some savage damage scaling…
