I’d imagine theyd space it so you dont have enough time to do this or something
Yeah but that’s all in one combo so the damage is scaled, if what i said can happen then it counts as 4 different combos, less scaling and more damage, all easy.
Hopefully its like the guy above said, and it’s spaced so you can’t, ima go watch the vid to see if I can tellz…
exactly, you barely reach the enemy with cr. rh / super / ultra after EX Dread Kicks because it pushes you too far away from him/her, even in the corner i think if you try to dash and to that combo again (jab jab, etc.) you
- are to far away to jap combo him OR 2. have to do 2 dashes and until you jab him he is on the ground or kicked out of the crumble animation and lands on his feet just like if you’re too late after a Focus Attack.
yeah was just watchin the vid and the spacing looks like a dash and a bit away, Spose we’ll see when it comes out : O
top tier
right now im Maining bison with a lil bit of Zangief and Seth to keep my input with other types of characters (dp motion chars and wrestler chars) at a good lvl.
I wonder if it pays off to switch to Deejay, never played him in ST or HD Remix (was too young for ST and not very interested in HD Remix ^^).
Heard that he is a very solid character, good anti airs and combos but what about his pokes? i mean i loooove Bisons st. HK and st. MK dont know what i should do without them…
For Bisons cr. HK (slide), DeeJay got his own version with lesser range, maybe also safer because of that, or a good method to advance under projectiles / baiting people.
So my main questions to all of you who played Deejay in ST / HDR : What about DeeJays pokes? :>

He has gdlk pokes
Just from watching the gameplay video, it looks like the last hit of his super is like an overhead kick that knocks down (Might not not be overhead, the kick just comes down like it could be one).
I don’t think it launches like in super turbo. Anyone else know?
ah thanks D-Proto, if the moves stay the same (or at least a lil bit) st. MK could be could with DeeJay ^^
and you’re right CWheezy, his Super doesnt launches in the air, you’re probably looking out for that Super into Up Kicks juggle he? ^^ I think they balanced it because if you could Up Kick juggle after the super, i bet you could Ultra juggle also
they’ll probably do the same thing they did with viper’s ex tk. just make it knock down if you do it again.
That’s his throw, his forward throw I believe. Take a look at the video from capcom fight club…

From the looks of it, the EX dreads recover slow enough that you can’t hit the opponent until the part of the crumple where hitting will juggle them, which is why whatever attack he uses after it juggles. This means that whatever you use after it will have to be an ender.
Ex dread, fadc, ex dread, random anyhing in the corner. I’d say that’s fair for 4 bars of stock.
Right now, Dee jay is looking more fun than his ST/Alpha counterparts.
DeeJay is a charge character, fadc into EX Dread Kicks wont work
You’ve never seen a charge character dash then do another charged move?
Edit: One of my favorite
I can assure you that he won’t have any poke as good as Bison’s st.HK.
Yeah, I saw. When I saw that throw I went “rats”, but I soiled myself over EX Dread Kicks so it balanced out.
ive seen that plenty of times… with doing an ultra, but i never saw a guile or bison or chun li or whatever do a dash and then Scissor Kicks / Sonic Boom / Kikoken, u get me? With Ultramotions its possible because you kinda sneak that dash in, with special moves it would be back, forward, forward + K / P, never tried it but i dont believe that would work
You can dash in then do a string into charge special.
Charge Partition would be nice to have.
I wonder why Dee Jay doesn’t get a cinematic cutaway for his Ultra like the rest of the cast does?
Right now his Ultra looks like a Super.
