The WWL is excited to start its second season as the premier HDR league on XBOX Live! To jump start our new season we’re inviting everyone, league member or not, to join us for an open tournament for December 11, 2009. This is a Friday and our current start time is 9:30 EST / 6:30 PST. Come join us, meet some new players, and consider joining us for league play starting soon after!
The Tournament will be a standard double elimination tournament, best 2 of 3 games / each game 2 of 3 rounds with standard timing and Akuma is banned. Good luck to everyone!
Ohh snap! Competition is already looking fierce, I personally can’t wait to see the Thelo / Jiggly Rematch (BTW, it is THE most watched match on our youtube channel BY FAR) or a Brent / Thelo match (Vega v. Honda has been a debated matchup lately) or Brent / Jiggly ('Cause I’ve never seen Hawk v. Vega on HDR). My personal goal is to beat Alex’s Honda in tournament play LOL

That’s the current address with who we currently have. The draw was done randomly. As much as was possible I split up the byes so that there would not be gaps. I did use some personal discretion is relocations when this was necessary. Remember the tournament starts at 9:30 EST / 6:30 PST and you should try your best to be in the chat room and reported in 30 minutes in advance. Any signups that occur between now and midnight PST will be added and the spreadsheet updated but this gives you the idea. All names are the appropriate XBOX LIVE Gamertag to ensure ease of access.
