I agree with gos, limiting this tournament to xbox only kinda sucks. If you had PS3 on the list too, it would open up more players to come with “their” sticks and what not…good luck on the tourney…I hope it goes without a hitch 
Xbox is the superior console; this is a fact. The PS3 lags. If you understood the financial reasons for Evo using them, you’d perhaps not sound like such idiots.

But yea, 360 is the superior system, sorry. I really don’t want to alienate people, but I had to make a choice. And what happens if I allow both and someone with a PS3 stick goes up against someone with a 360 stick in tournament? What do you do? Solution: Pick one system ahead of time.
And in terms of picking which, we already have a lot of 360 equipment and minimal PS3 equipment. Not to mention 360 is a cheaper system and the game runs noticeably better on 360.
If I can somehow think of a way in the future to run the tournament with both systems, believe me I will. But I need to avoid that situation stated above.
We should be good to use Ether’s console. He’s the second one to say he’s bringing a system, so there is room. In total I believe we have 2 large LCDs, 7 small LCDs, and I have 2 small tube TVs in my car for backup. If anyone doesn’t have HDMI cables for their system (the small monitors only have HDMI, the big ones have everything) I have 5 HDMI cables with me. Got the stream equipment, a headset, and an extra microphone. I don’t have a mixer for this event, but should for my next one to make the audio even nicer. Got two laptops, one for streaming and one for bracket. Three system and game setups.
People can arrive as early as like 7:30 to 7:45, as I’m getting to the venue at like 7:15 since I get off work at 7. The signups are starting at 8pm ASAP.
Great tourney, lots of fun. Really looking forward to the next one.
