CLASH For Charity!
24 Hour FGC Charity Marathon/Tournament
From the host of Thursday Night CLASH and other related series, I’m hosting a new event with a bit of a twist - a 24 hour gaming marathon and tournament for charity! I’m going to be hosting this event from December 14th to 15th, 9pm EST to 9pm EST, with a venue where players can bring whatever fighting games they want to play with each other, and host tons of tournaments for prizes!
All proceeds will go to those devastated from the recent Hurricane Sandy. I live next to Atlantic City in South NJ, and while I am thankful to say that my house and my family are all fine, that isn’t the case for everyone. Every day as I drive through my town I still see piles and piles of trash bags in front of houses as many families are forced to get rid of so many things that were damaged from the hurricane. Many cities are absolutely devastated with giant sections of houses that literally floated away in rubble. I want to do this to help give back to the community, and we can all work together doing something we love - playing video games!
The event has a small door fee which will grant you access to the event for all 24 hours. All money collected from the door fee will go to charity. I will also be running a live stream of the event for all 24 hours collecting donations online as well.
As for tournaments, I’m building an intense list of games that will have tournaments ran on the livestream. Be a part of competitive play (all streamed and recorded) for some of the best, and some of the most obscure fighting games out there. I’m gathering a list of games now and currently have:

Anyone is free to bring setups for any fighting games they want to play with each other. We’ll have other monitors/systems/games available besides the stream setup, though you are welcome to bring whatever you want. If you want to see a game added as a tournament, just post in this thread what game you would like to see, and if I have it I’ll make it happen. If I don’t, if you have a copy of the game then that works too!
