Death Cargo

Actually, what John said was that he wasn’t going to do any other video. Not that he’d stop following this situation entirely.

So I just got my refund from Necrostorm.

The part of the email that cracks me up states, “We understand your frustration and we obviously accept your request: we are going to refund your money and stop the shipping. Pretty sad because everything was about to be delivered, but we understand your frustration.”

So does that mean the package you sent me (along with the “second shipment” to replace the missing first) over a month ago never went out to begin with?

Either way, this entire situation was good for a few laughs. I’m interested to see if the game ever does get a physical and/or working version. Good, bad, or otherwise, I was interested in playing it.

Lmao they’re just trying to make you regret your decision. Its a sad attempt too, since they think you’re one of the general public and you don’t know what’s going on with this underground game you tried to buy.

pitiful, just fess up you haven’t been working on the game for years, and are trying to save face by scrabbling together a game. It’s a long long way from being finished lol.

rofl at that warning

HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE STEALING FILES FROM OUR SERVERS

Stopped reading at “trying to stole”

Looks like there’s a downloadable link on twitter from someone. Just search “Necrostorm” and it’s within the 1st few that pop up under “all results.” Not sure if I have the balls to attempt it, but the file size is about right. lol

Perhaps a gift

Can’t wait for Rainbow Edition

So does this mean the game has actually been patched (somewhat)? With non-glitchy sprites and working deathrips?

There’s already one:

The one guy said it best a while back. “This game is digital AIDS.”

What’s happening here is people who paid for someone to shit on their hands, asking for more because the shit that they got was shittier than they expected.

this was a great watch

Wish I took a screenshot, they blocked my account there, but last night when checking their forums, I found out what that ADV shit was. Some guy posted there that he had his copy of the preorder edition all along, and that Necrostorm basically paid him and others money to not say anything and pretend they never got their game. He posted photos of the box and other shit on his bed as proof he has the game. Apparently Necro paid people who got the game to lie and pretend they didn’t as part of some weird ass advertising scheme.

Those fools really think they’re pulling one over on people by telling them that shit? Then again, history does teach us that you pretty much have to be an invalid to spend any $ on a their products.
4 years for a broken/buggy-ass game. 4 years… lol

I could convert my toaster oven into the fucking ed209, and he’d still defecate better programming than this 16-bit garbage.

I’ll believe someone got paid to show off some packages they got
(one of the posters with the package’s posting style reminds me a lot of oldstylegame83 from Death Cargo )

But not a single one of them have shown that they actually have the “6 not playable character enemies” or the full soundtrack, leading me to believe their disc is just empty, and the digital release was just hastily finished after the kotaku article.

They couldn’t control that article, so they pissed themselves and went into desperation mode, instead of leading the customers on for even longer.

The real mystery lies within how there are actually people that still believe these greasy con “artists”
