Always remember, I have never paid for my Necrostorm items. So for me to have been “scammed” isn’t accurate. Even though I worked on the game I feel like I should get mine only after everyone who has actually paid for theirs. And Gnighted…I’m not religious. Actually far from. My “belief” is based on facts. Last I posted on the forum was that I was still waiting for the hard copy. It took 4 months for my hotel INferno to show up. How long ago did that come out? LOL Did I think that was fake since I didn’t get my copy in forever? I just know it takes forever. I did receive my digital code and there are actually several hours left before I’m “expected” to get it. I consider myself a low priority (even if they don’t). I’m patient and respectful. which is something you are obviously not. If attacking me makes you feel better sir, go for it. I’m a moron. LOL. For scammers giving people their money back that’s very kindly of them. I bet I have a King for an Uncle in Nigeria who would likely not return the money I sent him to escape “the rebels”. LOL

It’s pretty clear to see that you do care about the company, and its customers, but surely you also recognise that faith only goes so far, and in this case it’s been pushed far beyond limits. I assume you still haven’t received your pre-order package, but still live in the hope each day that it’s going to be there waiting for you when you get home. But it isn’t. You say that people have mentioned things in the game that haven’t been publicised yet. My question is: Are these people that you speak of friends of yours? People that you know personally? Have you seen an actual physical product in the hands of a purchaser? Or are you going only from mention that many others saw on the Necrostorm forums by people that popped up only to insult, belittle and verbally beat down everyone else in the same kind of broken English as Necrostorm’s similarly-themed customer communications? Those same people also had accounts that were attempting to hype up Death Cargo across the web for the past year, and scream entirely of company shill accounts. They offered nothing of any solid assistance to anyone asking for it, and only served to further Necrostorm’s agenda in the moment… silencing the nay-sayers and disquieted customers wondering where the product they paid for and were told was on the way had gotten to.
The company needs a PR overhaul, and badly. The constant removal of forum and Facebook posts says nothing but “We don’t care what you have to say”. Did you notice that recently they posted claiming that this so-called 20 people who were saying they didn’t have their pre-orders never purchased it? Do you think that washes just because they removed the comments from disappointed buyers from their pages? It doesn’t. All it does is further suspicion. If they’re legit, and there really are just reasons beyond their comprehension that packages haven’t arrived (and we’re not just talking pre-orders, we’re also talking general orders post-release of the non-digital version, which aren’t showing up anywhere either) then they’re doing the equivalent of turning up at airport security, punching the guard in the scanners on the nose, legging it through and then running laps calling everyone who comes near a cunt in as rabid a tone as possible, yet they’ve done nothing wrong whatsoever, and have no intentions to.
It’s illogical. It’s farcical. It makes no sense whatsoever, and that raises the suspicion-o-meter through the freakin’ roof.
What do you think is going to happen once (if?) all the digital editions are distributed to purchasers and people come back out asking where their physical copy is? Either production simply hasn’t gotten fully rolling on them, and will do after the digitals are created and ready for burning (and packages will ship), or they’ll get a big “fuck you, you activated your digital copy and got that, didn’t you?” Given the track record so far, either one would seem to be the result of a coin toss.
To repeatedly say that quite literally thousands of people have received a fully working physical copy within the past two months, when not one single image of even a happy person holding the DVD case has appeared anywhere online is quite clearly either a) supremely ignorant or b) untrue. People don’t listen to faceless requests, even when it’s given in a strongly-worded legal tense. As soon as those packages landed, we’d have had YouTube videos, streams, people posting their photos on the Death Cargo Facebook page and all sorts. The fact that the ONLY seemingly genuine customer feedback out there is “Where is the game I’ve paid for?” speaks volumes.
It’s becoming increasingly obvious that they pegged the release date far ahead of either a) the game actually being finished or b) having the capacity and time to process the physical orders and get things moving. Instead of coming clean about it, they went on the offensive first and couldn’t back down. Cue clusterfuck.
To quote you again: “How many other companies respond to people like they do?”
The answer to that is: Thankfully, not many; considering the response from their in-house crew is generally either excessively sardonic or outright insulting (I assume you’ve seen the ‘fat kid’ video and emails? Who the hell talks to anybody like that and thinks that it’s okay to do so?) Politeness costs nothing, and they should indeed be engaging with and answering all queries to people (customers who have paid them to provide a product) in a succinct and truthful manner. They aren’t doing that. It’s just constant bush-beating, misdirection and stalling. And when that doesn’t work, it’s censorship and insult time.
Seriously, they ought to do away with whoever is running their PR front and hire you on full time to do it, because right now they’re committing professional suicide. This will likely spread far considering it’s now hitting Twitter and external channels, and their recorded communications will be found by potential distributors along the road looking for information before they take on future product. Going the way they are, said distributors would be likely to decide not to touch it with a barge pole.

Have you ever heard of any company throughout history that’s ever given money back for a product. That is the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard, and if you believe it you are a fucking idiot. I live in the real world with deadlines and when somebody set an expectation, they should meet it. If they don’t meet that deadline they should have a pretty good excuse that’s not a bunch of bullshit for why they didn’t.

Like I said before, I get the frustration. I do. I can totally get why some people are mad. They do what they do, despite what you or I say to them. Attacking me for something I didn’t do just seems silly. If the game is shit, then its shit. If it’s awesome, it’s awesome. I did the dialogue for the game and for the movies. What I know of the game from guys who have played it and guys that have made it say it’s awesome. The last video I saw was the same one everyone else saw. From the sounds of it (and what I know of the dev) it’s been virtually redone. How the company is run, that’s up to the boss. If my purpose was to talk shit, I would be doing it. If my purpose was to defend Necrostorm, I would certainly be doing that much more. I only know what Ive seen so far and what ive been told. I can only do or say soo much on either side (gamers) (necrostorm). You don’t need faith if you don’t purchase the game. You are out nothing. If you want to wait and see a Demo or video or whatever is coming (and I don’t know) then that’s your deal. The attacking is coming from both sides here, I’m about as partisan as you can get. I don’t think ive seen anything here that isn’t at least true on some level, trust me. I get it.

All those screen shots and videos make the game look like crap. It is so smooth and so realistic…you just have to see it in motion.
Every hit is so visceral and so in your face that you are really in the game. You can practically feel it. One of the (many) secret characters “Ureethripper” is probably the most brutal character ever. After watching him brutalize my opponents kidneys there was a tiny red dot in my underwear that only got larger the longer I played.
It’s amazing. I would upload a video but the graphics are so intensive I can’t even get 1 fps with my recording equipment.
Would discuss more but I have to get back to playing it.
