Dealing with Zero's crossups

Yesterday I was getting my ass handed to me courtesy of Zeros sentsuizan crossup. Even though I knew it was coming, I had lots of trouble predicting how to block it. What’s a good way to handle this? Maybe I could’ve just jumped out of the situation all together? Or maybe crossups just require good old fashioned practice? Looking for some advice.

P.S. Maybe this belongs more in the newbie dojo, but I figured that’s nearly SF4 exclusive and the TvC forums could use a little more action.

Sentsuizan is a pretty good special. It hits overhead so blocking low is a bad option. Its crossup is good but its sorta steep so I would try not to let Zero get directly above you (this could be hard). When your in the corner realize that his teleport hienkyaku, will force him to the corner instead of you so heinkaku could be something of a reverse crossup.
Other than that you could test at what point heinkaku crossed. That would be nice to know.

i do a lot of backwards jumping when i’m going against zero.

Dealing With Zero really iz annoying…i shuld knw better thn any1

from my experience with Zero’s Mix/Cross up’s backwards jumping is a gud game plan…
personally i suggest finding out the move or move’s your character has that beats certain moves in his Mix/Cross up…Of course PREDICTION iz 10000% necessary in defending his Mix/Cross up’s
