Deadpool Movie Thread

I still think he has a long way to go. I think he’s being smart in only taking roles that he’s capable of doing. He’s doing better at this point in time than the Rock when he started making movies.

Ha ha New school wrestling thing they have everything figured out.
Nothing the old school WWF did back in the 80s, there just more money in it now.

I did wish Cable was 10 feet tall at 400 lbs of muscle, LoL!

But yeah he looks aite. Comedy between him and Deadpool will be great!

Cena is a really good actor tho he was great in that one Tina Fey movie.

that cable pic is a fuccing disgrace

lol doa as well

He was in John Wick!? The fuck?

he didn’t die in that movie, Francis was the boy who lived.

I didn’t know they were filming Deadpool 2 there. I was actually thinking about going there to grab some food today. Do stunt deaths happen? I rarely hear about them in the news. Hope the movie would put a moment of silence for the stuntswoman.

Well, they do happen, even if it’s seldom. Every year I hear of at least 3 stunt folks dying on the set of some movie. There are probably more. It’s sad.

I remember reading about another stunt person dying last month during the filming of The Walking Dead, so I assume they do happen every now and then

not this often. its been a string of them lately. People get hurt, but deaths is not as common as you think. Obviously the biggest injury lately has been the women working on resident evil. The last death pre-walking dead i wanna say was a few years ago. This parkour guy i knew from ny who fell off a building and missed the mat.

Joi SJ Harris has been identified as the stunt woman that died.

Ok so back in the day i read X-Men comics non-stop for about 4 years straight, when the 90’s animated series made me a fan. Something i’ve never been clear on though is Cable’s techno-organic virus, which nerfs his incredible power because he has to use 80% of it to keep the virus at bay.

My question is, what happens if the Virus overtook him completely? Would he really die? We see him still having the use of his infected “robo” arm, eye, and parts of his head just fine. So if he still retains the use of that, then wouldn’t the virus just make him like a permanent-form Colossus? Living metal w/technology? He’d still be alive but just different?

Or would he really just drop dead?

He would really die. Yes. They had to work in some bullshit reason when he ran out of brain power to suppress the virus. During the Hope saga, for a moment, he was almost completely cybernatic and was lying there dying, but then the next issue had him getting one little spark back, then he worked his mind until he could suppress it again. It was pretty bullshit.

i thought hope helped heal him somehow

Hope used her mary sue powers to remove the virus entirely. He gets it back thought because of Status quo shit.

It was during the cat and mouse with Bishop in the future when Cable went full cyber to fight him. Hope did later cure him after the whole Phoenix 5 thing.
