I’m in the local drive in RIGHT NOW to see this shit. Unfortunately I got here as the credits were ending for the last showing so I already saw the end credits scene, fortunately the end credits scene didn’t spoil anything and was just funny. Although I supposed I shouldn’t be worrying about spoilers since I read the whole damn script but hey, I want some surprises.
Coming from seeing the movie. Love it! It’s everything I wanted in a Deadpool movie. It’s great seeing Colossus get more than 5 seconds of screen time. I hope they bring him back as a supporting character for the sequel.
I don’t want to see Cable in the sequel. Never been a fan of the guy. He needs to fuck off so we can get Domino and Bob instead.
After a decade and some spare change, fox studios has finally made a good superhero movie that can rival what marvel studios has been doing for the last couple of years. I’ve always thought the fox superhero franchise is hot garbage with only pockets of good moments and casting choices here and there. If fox was smart they would use DP as a launch pad for a new x-universe.
Well virtually anyone could probably play cable. They just need to do that body switch cgi that they did in captain america 1 where they pasted Chris Evans face on a short guys body for the beginning quarter of the film. Add in some CGI like they did with colossus and its a wrap.
its a pretty good action movie, though the only character that stands out is Deadpool. You can tell this movie is made for his fanbase. I dont know who any of the other characters were besides colossus.
Im wondering if DC is going to try to make a movie like this. The only anti-hero I can think of from DC is Lobo.
Just watched it with the girlfriend. It’s a great movie and portrayed Deadpool in the best way. Not the whole “lol random! Chimichangas!” way that the fans do.
You’re probably still salty from getting AHVB’d. I know what that feels like… you’re all winning with 2 or 3 characters at good health and just one bad assist call, and one kick to tiger knee in the face really is one of the shittiest feelings ever felt.
Cable is the epitome of a shitty 90s character. Everything about the guy is just terrible to me. Even when he grew of it I still found him to be a boring character. Never cared about him leading Providence, protecting Hope from Bishop, and his daddy issues with Cyclops. They should have kept him dead.
Look, you guys are missing the big picture. How you feel about Cable as a character is less important than how Cable and Deadpool work together. Cable is a serious straightman to Deadpool’s fucking insanity and they play off of each other well. And it’s not like how Colossus was in this movie, Cable is just as eager to blow someone’s brains out as Deadpool is, he’s no goody two shoes.
Movie was great. It met all my expectations and I loved all the nonstop jokes and hijinks. Best Stan Lee cameo by far. My favorite thing about the movie was how they captured Deadpool’s antihero personality perfectly.
The after ending was also funny.
I could definitely see Lang pull off a Cable, plus unlike random bodybuilders he’s an actual actor.
It’s amazing how many parents took their 7-8 year olds to this movie.
