Rob leifeld would probably sell his first born to get jon hamm as cable. I wouldnt mind that. Unless stephen lang plans on pumping steroids for 6 months, and pushing himself to the limit, i doubt he will play cable.
Now i feel bad since he wants to actually play cable, but i just dont think it will be as accurate a portrayal as it could be. It would be easier and more accurate if they went with someone taller, in their 40s, and could easily pump captain america level muscles on real quick.
Deadpool and colossus were such accurate portrayals, id hate to not see the same amount of effort put into cable.
I think Dolph would do fine as Cable.

Iād rate the movie as an 8/10 or 7.5/10.
It was just āfineā but I think of it as a missed chance, it could have had much more violence and more humor (I think I chuckled only 3 times during the movie and it was mostly in the beginning - Calendar Girl montage was genius).
Nonetheless, it seems peopleās loving it and Iām glad for that. But if thereās a sequel I hope it gets a bigger budget, it certainly needed more and better action, I can concur with what some reviews said āthe movieās basically what you saw in the trailer plus a couple things moreā (I guess I just have to stop watching trailers).
If thereās not a sequel immediately, a PG-13 rated X-Force movies Iād be alright with that

I swear Iām perplexed by how so many people can fail to understand how the 1 - 10 (0 - 10 even) rating scale works.
8/10 or 7.5/10 isnāt āfineā. 5/10 is āfineā, because itās in the middle. 1 or 0 is the absolute worst, 10 is perfect, so how the fuck can two steps below 10 be āfineā?
If you think it was a 5 out of 10 just say it was a 5 out of 10.
Unless youāre going with the actual definition of āfineā which actually means of high quality(I assume not because you said it was a āmissed opportunityā), then itād be a 9/10 or a 10/10, but even then your score doesnāt make sense.
Just a pet peeve of mine.
Then Iād give it a 5.5.
Because in Latin America we used the number scale in a different way. In schools, a 5/10 means an āFā on the American system, which means the movie failed. 7.5 is the average.
