I think if charlie hunnam got a little swole, he would be good. They could also just find some lesser known b actors from tv shows, or whatever that are already swole, and just build on that. Charlie hunnam getting chris evans swole to play cable would be pretty fucking hype though.

Like this is the perfect size for cable for an actor to achieve, if they arent already swole

Having the money isn’t the same as it being smart to spend it. They could’ve bought Spider-Man back years ago, but Sony had no reason to sell. Despite comic book fans disliking them in general, the X-movies still do extremely well at the box office, so Marvel has no bargaining leverage and it’d cost them a ton to even do a deal similar to the Sony one.

Best they can do is keep collecting them checks.

Arnold in his prime was only 220-230 on stage. So prime arnold would need to put on 70-80 lbs of muscle to pull that off.

Look we gotta make compromises somewhere. You’d be hard pressed to find a 6’5 300lb guy with a body that would make an Olympian look like an out of shape nerd, who can also act.

We’ll settle for a 6’2 guy who can hit at least 220-250, and we’ll just get someone to dub over his voice.
