Got to Chapter 5 before I called it quits for the night, sick and only had about two hours of sleep in the last two days so going to rest and grind through it tomorrow. The double disc surprises me, wonder if it’s longer than I anticipated or if the MP just takes up a lot of room. (FYI, if you plan to rent this for MP, EA is doing the whole Battlefield: BC thing where you gotta purchase such and such thing to play, they have a free trial though. Game comes with a code automatically.)
I just splurged and bought this for the PC via Steam. I loved the first game, and this one looks just as good. Plus it’s got multiplayer where I can be a negromorph? Fuck yes. Gonna catch some Zzz so my download should be done when I wake up.

Ah man I’m about to go to sleep for like 8 hours lol. My sleeping schedule all messed up these days. For what its worth, I played Dead Space 1 on the PC as well via Steam and I didn’t have a problem with the controls. They took a little while to get used to, but it was fine after an hour or so. I mainly bought this on the PC because of multiplayer and the slight possibility of mods. Plus I’m way more comfortable with keyboard & mouse instead of PS3 controller when it comes to 1st person and 3rd person games. I’ma try to get my money’s worth over the next 2 weeks cause I doubt I’ll play it much (if at all) when MvC3 drops.

oh i would still purchase it cause it’s mad cheap (was 6.50$ on steam), but the aiming aspect of the game was pretty bad due to the SUPER mouse lag feel of the aiming they programed into the pc version.

Yo CLU I havent played SSF4 in like 6 months I honestly don’t even wanna touch the game. I’ll just be mashing shit lol. I might play again when AE comes to console but I dunno. I’ma definitely get on that MvC3 though. I’ma be scrubby as shit in that too hahaha.
I wish I didn’t buy Dead Space 2 for PC. 
Sounds like PC will be getting no DLC support, and I can’t fucking join multiplayer games because my NAT Type is too strict. Fuck that bullshit. I have played PLENTY of other PC games where my NAT was fine and I didn’t have to go dicking around with my router. Ever since companies like EA and Activision been doing straight console ports have I had this problem.
So I can’t even give any feedback on multiplayer yet cause I can’t join a fucking game. Now I gotta find what ports this game uses, which has seemed impossible so far. Anyone with some tips? Is there a site I can go to?
The single player is fine though. Controls don’t bother me, and they didn’t in the first one either.

I preordered CE for PC on amazon because I thought it would have better MP and be easier to play with m+kb:sad:
I hope the MP isn’t as bad as giant bomb and GI said, I didn’t buy black ops or reach just so I could devote time to DS2 MP which looks more fun then those games.

Stage 9 is pissing me off, lol.
One thing I do hate is how you have to go through tedious puzzle shit and dialogue before you get to retry the shit that them proceeds to kill you for the billionth time - my only quibble.

This game was fucking badass, beat it last night and i just got to chapter 7 on newgame+. Once again the cutter owns this game, no need to use anything else so you can stock up on ammo for other guns to mess around with. In part one my combo was the cutter/pulserifle, i fell in love with the pulserifle in part one, it just tore up everything nicely and with 175 rounds max you can take down any wave that came at you before you had to reload. The pulserifle in ds2 is insanely beast id recommend yall get it. all it takes is one or two short bursts and the limbs start flying off. Cant wait to mess around with the other guns when they are maxed out.
I picked up DS2 today. I’ve yet to try it out. I want 2 hours in a dark room.
I think I got an extra rivet gun code (360) on my GS receipt. If that’s the case and someone didn’t pre-order I’d be happy to share it.
Got CE rivet game lights up but you need aa batteries to use it. DS2 is amazing if the rest of the game is as beastly as chapter1 it’ll be the only 3d games besides ocarina of time and the mass effect series that rivals the best 2d games.
Mouse sensitivity at default 50% no lag (I watched my friend play DS1 it looked kinda laggy.)
My combo was Cutter/Force Gun. Force gun is great for the pack and stalkers. I found myself using the Contact Beam as well sometimes like against the brutes.

I honestly don’t think you need anything more than the P. Cutter and Ripper.
And the P. Cutter is only for distance ish - otherwise let 'er Rip.
