I’ll like to say something else, concerning DOA 3.1. If it is so good, why don’t people play it? It’s a worse version of DOA3 and DOAU. It’s the same game at heart, only worse. It still forces you to reverse, it still forces you to guess even more than the previous games(“frame advantage” moves, that actually looks like it breaks your guard). I don’t mind guessing game situations in games, but not after every freaking move, and no skill to even set it up. Don’t forget the god-awful wall system. It’s just a big toss up from there…from wall grabs, to resets, to the good ol RPS…etc. It’s even worse, so how can it be better than any game I play(who cares if it was), it is still DOA.
DOA is fun, but it is still DOA.

Why would someone fly out to NY (I think that is where you live)just to play a guy who THINKS he is the best at something or to play in a 6-8 man tournament? That’s never going to happen. Unless they live sorta close. Maybe you should think before you post. Because that is the most absolute backwards thing I have ever read.
It seems like you want DOA to flourish like the other fighting games, but you are one of the reasons why it won’t. If you don’t get why, then you just don’t get it.

Everytime someone says “love him or hate him, he’s the best” or “say what you will about his personality, you can’t question his skills” or something like that, what they’re really doing is saying you’re an asshole. An asshole who pwns at this game, but an asshole none the less.
Nobody says “love him or hate him” when they love you, it’s their way of saying “yeah, he may be an asshole but I still respect his game”. That’s what I meant when I said nobody defends your personality, only your skills. And they make a specific point of saying they’re not defending your personality.

You’re confusing me with the scrubs who don’t respect your skill. I do. I was lying to make a point when I said we’d never played. I’ve seen that you have skill. Whether you’re the best or not is not for me to decide, I haven’t played everyone on earth. Now all you need is to stop acting like an asshole. No champion has ever been as petty as you. Did Alex or Justin pop in here every few days to remind us how good they were? Or to argue with random scrubs who claimed they were better? They let their skills do the talking. I think this game is…okay. Nothing new here except for graphics, costumes, and stages. This game, to my friends, is a button masher. And in a way, it is. You can say this game is a “Rock, paper, scissors” theory. Depending on what you do, it could be the outcome of the game. Like in 3rd Strike, ONE parry could really change the game (but not the RPS theory, you see, you actually have to THINK before you attack in 3S). You can do this with counters in DOA. I don’t play it anymore because the game lacks REPLAY value to me. I might get into it with DOA4, but not on a tourney level. And who is this Tom Brady player anyway?? Is he a pro on DOA?? I have never played you. I’m k177 m3 101. If you, NEO, reply from what I wrote, fine. But don’t cry when you lose. Because if you were that good, you would have to be in a sense, god. But of course, your not. As it shows to us, in human characters and as human beings, we make mistakes.
