Here I was reading about the death of DoA as a series and a tear was coming to the eye. Then the idea of Itagaki getting the franchise on his hands again came to the head and another tear come into the other eye.
Well, it can’t be said that the series got a premature death. The run was quite long and the costumes got to triple digits. I almost wish there were a definitive edition to gather all the characters but whatever, will be good enough for play.
Ugh, Itagaki is what happens when you get a actual scrub, in the most Sirlin-esque expression of the term, to design a game. Everything wrong with 4 happened because Itagaki fought competitive players and decided that he didn’t like the way that they played the game.
Someone said this is way to communicate is very typical in Japan and Japanese fans probably will be fine with it but an announcement like this doesn’t go well in the west, we have a different mentality.
I said it on FSD, but this does little to affect their community outside of traveling to US events…Game will stay the same in the arcades most likely.
Here it will either make people drop an already small community Game, or just leave people to keep playing with whatever scraps are left.
At least the Big E events that are a big deal for DOA are going to stick around, and that Texas major.
What? What I was trying to convey was simply that DoA dying = sad and Itagaki doing DoA6 = just as sad or even more. Sorry if it could be understood as shedding a tear of joy, hell no.
so instead to admit you made a mistake and made it to early and let the thread be closed by a mod you change the thread title and try to keep it alive for…which reason?
First of all I did ask a mod to close it if it’s any of your concern, which to hell it isn’t. And yes since it didn’t happen I changed the thread title, I am not responsible for you having a brain aneurysm and putting the breaks on your life (if you even have one) over it. Because unless you’re getting a check over it, it really shouldn’t be any of your motha’fuckin concern
