I’m just glad to see the series coming back to Playstation. I owned DOA4 on the 360 but, when I moved from Wales to USA, the console became a paperweight. Running more power into it might start a fire, so I settled for DOA2 (still a great game). Psyched for this. 
We’re not even sure if the andriasang translation (which eveyone is basing this on) is correct. The folks at FSD are already getting in touch with Tecmo/TN to clarify this matter.
Not entirely true. AFAIK VF5 was the FIRST fighting game to make you pay for content already on the disc via an unlock key, similar to SFxT.
Just remembered how salty Alpha152 made me in DOA4. Anybody think she’ll be back? Even though I hated her, I sort of want to fight her again. I’ve gotten better since we last fought, Alpha - let’s go one more round for old times sake!
She wasn’t so bad. For some reason she couldn’t deal with jumping kicks.

I reall hope that this game gets some of that spotlight. It really sucks that it’s released 2 weeks after tekken tag 2.

Lei Fang confirmed in DOA5, as shown in Famitsu! There’s a new stage called The Show, which looks like a circus. There’s also a new male character but no idea who it is…

Reading Famitsu right now and looking at the DOA5 feature…
- Zack’s costume is his default costume, and his afro can be knocked off his head
- The circus stage is actually two stages in one; the first one is the Clown stage and features juggling clowns on giant rolling balls, the second is the Ring of Fire stage, that has tigers jumping through flaming hoops. The article makes an allusion to tigers interfering with the battle, but I don’t know if that’ll turn out to be true or not.
- In the clown stage, the power blow triggered scene is when you smack someone into the giant clown face into the stage with a power blow. They’ll be swallowed by the clown and then shot through a cannon from the clown’s nose, into a giant target above the juggling clowns lol
