I play DDR and Pump, freestyle mode 
Well, I can only do proper freestyle stuff on Pump. Kinda bored of DDR now 
yea wish DDR could make new versions with non remixed songs lol,
but have you played IIDX?
I’ve played Beatmania (5-key) and Ez2dj, but not IIDX.
The song selection for all DDR games are mainly eurobeat, macho, house and the 4326423846 speed tracks that don’t even match the difficulty of Pump It Up songs on Crazy/Nightmare difficulty.

I plau pump, and the songs on DDR seem to be more crappy trance that House. There’s like 1 ok DNB song. Anyway, Pump is a good bit harder than DDR. I’ve been picking up DDR and now I can pass almost every Heavy song.
I’m not really into Pump, but you guys make it sound interesting. I shall try it out.
PIU is a good machine for those who like to freestyle “very good” no crappy hand/knee drops, waving hands in the air.
i play ddr also but not seriously anymore seeing is how DDR died on the competitive level in TX. i am from SA. i can see your a PA kinda of guy seeing is how you put your score. R&P is a fun song to play especially on doubles.
my best when i played on r&p is 7g now if i played it would be 30 or so. i am good. could AA most heavy songs cept a few. max/x PSO. i only play IIDX 8thmix now when i feel like going to cyberzone. LAB 7key owns that machine

Yeah I can’t freestyle for shit. DDR died over here as well, prolly everywhere else too, as I read about it in a thread at DDR FREAKS.
I’m not much into doubles so I suck at that too.
I haven’t been playing DDR for a while either, but I still play it when I get the chance!
there’s still lots of tourney’s held here at SoCal. but just for fun, people are playing Beatmania Red, Pop 'n Music, and Initial D more.
for skill: PA >> Freestyle , but i enjoy watching freestyle better (when there’s actually dancing incorporated into it)
A lot of peeps here are playing Initial D 3 (I think)
I to like to watch freestyles go down, I have about 11 DDR videos which few of them a freestyle and the rest AAAs on the hardest songs.
