Dc MvC2 - whwere do i begin to copy it

i fear thatone day due to intense playing, this game of mine will actually break  . so where do i begin  BTW as you can see im new to the forum and games copying idea so pleaseeeeee, go easy on me .

By downloading it… DC games are GDI ROM so the only way to extract it from the disc is with a special adaptor through the Dreamcast it’s self…

  1. i am unable to find a site to download this game

  2. where can i get this adaptor

:frowning: i dont wanna part with this game

Sorry I think that’s as far as I can go about discussing this… The adaptor was made in limited suply only, it’s like gold dust…

1up’s to you anyway

This isn’t a place to share information on downloading games(it’s illegal).

sorry

Make an Iso of it then burn it on a disc using Alcohol 120. Then just put it into your DC and it should play.

You can’t make an ISO without the adaptor like I said before… Standard DVD burners can’t extract GDI ROM, hence the need for the adaptor… The only way to do it is to use the Dreamcast’s GDI CD drive and extract it through the Dreamcast it’s self.

what does gdi stand for

I can’t believe it took 5 years for MSP to finally become a handle on SRK.

:u: Yeah I know… The last one I remember was short, short, super… It’s cool though because he’s from the UK too…

Alucard20: Sorry, but downloading a copy of a game you own is not illegal, unless someone else wants to unlawfully interpret the DMCA, force it on a citizen of another country, and risk being shot in the face.

That said, I have no idea where to find Dreamcast ISOs. Anyone with a good source, PM the OP.

You can get MvC2 isos with bittorrent. Check the torrentspy site. Do you have an actual copy of MvC2? If so lucky you 'cause that’s rare, but if it’s a CD-R copy you can probably just copy it with Roxio or Sonic or whatever program came with your computer.

Did you even read the topic thusfar? It has been said multiple times that can not just rip and ISO and burn it on a normal burner. The burner drive in your computer can not read the proprietary GDI-ROM data on the disc, thus why you NEED a special adapter to rip that info. Thus finding an ISO online is the only decent option other than buying another copy of the game.

Also, MvC2 for DC is not rare and valuable, only the PS2 and Xbox versions are.

Hey, let’s not start a flame war, calm down.

I ripped and burned my copy of MvC2 on my computer and I’ve never even HEARD of this adapter. Maybe newer computers don’t need one?

If the game is NOT a CD-R but an original copy, (this has not been stated) then yes, you’re right you need an adapter.

And I know MvC2 is not super valuable, but have you seen one in a gamestop or EBgames anytime recently? I personally haven’t, that’s why I think it’s cool to own one.

thats how you burn the game into a new cd hope this help and yah i dont understand how to do it i have the game on my computer but i dont know how to burn it into a cd. so if anyone figures out please pm me im just going to have to stick with the crappy xbox one until someone figures out

What format is your MvC2 file in? It should be an ISO or mds or something like that. That’s an image file, you have to burn it with a special program like diskjuggler or alcohol 120 or DVD decryptor.

You can find trial versions, or better yet cracked versions of all of these programs. Once you have one of 'em installed your computer should recognize it, just open it and burn as an image. Goodluck

e-mvscap.001
e-mvscap.002

it goes all the way up to 17 im not sure what it is but im pretty sure its a file. i downloaded the trial disjugler and it has functions like create cd and dvd images, burn cd and dvd images im confused already i dont know what to do and i have nero burner

Those are .rar files you need to extract with winrar. By the way I’ll give you a quick hint and tell you that you downloaded MvC not MvC2.
