Shits too expensive.
Been reading Animal man, but I need swamp thing too for the full story.
Should just stick to Justice League and Aquaman, Wonder Woman (maybe) and Superman, probably try Death in the family too.

Bat stuff
[details=Spoiler]Well… one reason to off him is that no one can tell how old he is. Seriously two different books give you two different answers. Batman and Robin tells you he’s 8, constantly. In Batman Inc. Morrison says he’s 12. After the reboot Batman has only been Batman for five years. So maybe he got Talia pregnant before he became Batman? Nope. Morrison still says it happened after he became Batman. Maybe he was test tube aged quickly as was hinted at by Morrison? Nope. Tomasi showed EVERY ONE OF HIS BIRTHDAYS IN THE ANNUAL!!!

Is his death needed to solve these problems? No but I dunno maybe if editors actually did their job? Or if Tomasi and Morrison picked up a phone? Or how about YOU JUST STOP SAYING HOW OLD HE IS GEEZ!

I know part of it is Morrison is just keeping his bat story going regardless of the what the reboot alters. It’s still kind of crazy to believe that in his view pretty much every single Bat story still happened while comparitively Superman has had about five adventures.

It reminds me of when Marvel offed Moira McTaggert. It was really conveniant because she goes back to Wolrd War II, she was already like 100. Magneto was de-aged when he became a baby and grew up again, Professor X’s body was cloned so that solved those two. Juggernaut’s power keeps him young in theory. There was no answer why Moira looked 25 and was banging Banshee at that.

I think the last problem with that is Legion’s mother, Gabrielle Haller. But she never appears anyway so she could be 100 or dead, doesn’t matter. Legion’s power could probably make him look as young as whatever.

Still not as much of a cluster fuck as the Damian situation.

Anyway I like like Damian and I still don’t want to see him go. Though yeah death means nothing in comics anyway, he’ll be back. Jason Todd says hi. And Damian buys it fighting his clone? yeah no idea how they can bring him back to life. x_X[/details]

In happier news, I just picked up the first fifty issues of the early 2000s Batgirl for less than 50 cents an issue.

Don’t ask me how old Cassandra Cain is. She’s younger than Charlie Brown, and that’s all I know for sure.

You know sometimes I think comics let the news spoil deaths because you can’t tell if someone died or not just by reading the issue. It happened with Johnny Storm, Professor X and now with Damian. If you read the issue normally, how would you be able to tell if he wasn’t going to get tossed in a Lazarus Pit in the next issue? Yo comics, ain’t nothin’ wrong with chopping someone’s head off. Just sayin’…
RIP Carmine Infantino. He was one of my teachers in art school. Really cool guy. Amazing that the basic design for Flash’s costume that he created hasn’t changed much over the years.
Lol I had him for second and fourth year at the School of Visual Arts. Second year was rough, we had to do 5 pages a week ontop of all of our other homework. The last year he was cool and we basically worked on our portfolios all year, at our pace.
Funny that I worked to pay for college by working at a law firm, was really good at it, rose through the ranks and now I earn really good money at the same law firm. So what I was just doing to pay for school became my carreer.
So I just do the art thing on the side, freelance here and there. My life’s not over but I guess I didn’t ‘make it’ just yet, and I’m getting ooooold and lazy (and my job eats so much of a free time at that, tons of overtime) so I don’t know if that’s in the cards for me. Eh at least I earn enough money to buy all the comics I want and owe no money in student loans.
Anyway looks like Carrie Kelley, the Robin from The Dark Knight Returns is going to become the new Robin.
Yeah no matter how many times I try to edit the post above it comes out like a wall of text so if you see it that way my apologies. That darn 52 SRK Reboot kicking in just before the game Injustice Gods Among Us drops…
