I’d like to see those vids, are they on YT?
He’s the bald guy.
lol, come on man, do you really think I wouldn’t recognize Morrison’s sexy bald head.
Thanks for the videos though will watch them later.
Harvey Kartell(sp?) looks absolutely fantastic as Superman. I especially like the cape. Sooooo hype for a good Superman film, please don’t let me down.
Despite my frustrations with some decisions that were made, i’m pulling for DC to succeed in the Relaunch. I guess it’s a situation like Nintendo… If they cannot penetrate the Market Share of Sony and Microsoft then they’ll cater to another audience… and hence the Wii.
One thing i’m excited at is that there’ll be lesser emphasis on “Writing for Trades” I’m sure we’ll get story arcs every now and then (JL and Action comics are already story arcs on their own)
but I look forward to a self-contained satisfactory of reading single issues which i hope reads longer than ten minutes (I personally base the length of time part of my enjoyment with the 30 minute (in reality 20-22 minute) animated dc or marvel or animated shows in general format.
And I guess I really wasn’t a fan of Decompressed Storytelling in the first place, for me at least
Single issues should be the standard… not the filler
Story Arcs should be Giant Golden Egg… not the standard
And Cross-overs should be The Uber-Golden Egg… not the Giant Golden Egg.
Woah, I just caught up with Scott Snyder’s Detective Comics run and it’s pretty good IMO.
I think you mean Henry Cavill…Superman Returns really let me down.
It seems like a bunch of non-Nolan Batman movies have let me down lately.
I guess, I just know he is white and looks like Superman.
@Tizoc: I would as well but finding all the back issues would be a nightmare, plus dunno when it starts.
lol, from Wikipedia, Snyder’s run starts with Detective Comics #871. His first story arc is a 3 parter.
Damn three parters, I don’t like those, they feel so…quick and constricted.
Picked up Citizen Cold #3, I did good with picking the more interesting/fun tie-in comics. This and Legion of D.O.O.M are fun.
Okay, so…
-Snyder isn’t on Detective anymore.
-No more Secret Six or Batgirl(is Power Girl surviving?)
-Simone isn’t writing BOP
-Don’t care about anything that Johns and Morrison is writing(except JU maybe)
-Barbara is out the chair(mistake IMO, and i love the character)
-No more Dick and Damian, and Dick is back as Nightwing.
…so what’s the upside to the DC shift if you mainly follow the Bat Family? At least Tiny Titans is still around.
Snyder is on Batman the main title, If you found David Finch or Tony S. Daniel entertaining they will be back with The Dark Knight and Detective Comics, respectively.
Nightwing thing hurts, but the comic itself looks somewhat promising. Jason Todd comic as well if you are into that. New Birds of Prey seems rather interesting to me actually.
I still dislike the new outfit they’re giving Katana…

I know, it’s big but I really needed to share this with my buddies here in DC Comics. In ALL the years he has been drawing comics, Liefeld has not improved at like…all.
Let’s highlight what I can tell easily that is wrong:
- Feet were conveniently left out, they prove to difficult to get right.
- Why is Dove’s fingers all the same length?
- Those hips don’t lie.
- WHERE IS OTHER DOVE’S ARM?!
Power Girl is returning in the new universe it seems. Her human persona is said to come back in one of the 52 launch books but they are not saying which one right now.
DC is shying away from the JSA (particularly guys like golden age Flash and Green) right now. Because they want Superman to be the first superhero in their world. I couldn’t agree more and no JSA hate but this is always something that bothered me about their concept. Our world’s first superhero, Superman should be their first superhero too.
I don’t mind the JSA showing up as a team that worked in secret long ago like they did on Smallville. Or have them come from a different world or something. Superman should be their first real publicly acknowledged superhero. Just my 2 cents on that.

Hmm mind elaborating on the hips? I agree to the other 3 though, lol.
Oh and what I heard about PG is that her human persona will only be around, so she might be depowered or some such.
They just look weird as shit to me, like if she stood up straight something would be inherently wrong. Weak arguement but still.
Finished up Legion of D.O.O.M #1 and #2, whoever said it was bloody wasn’t kidding, holy crap. Fun though, I like the story being told and it makes Heatwave seem more intimidating as a villain.
Finished Citizen Cold series, maaan, this is THE Flashpoint tie-in to me (Equal to the Batman one), was so good and just a very nice drama played out and a fun story. I like how most of these tie-in’s have nothing to do with Flash and are just fun Elseworlds style stories.
Ive been on the fence with DC ever since they ruing Cassandra Cain. Inc and Gates have been great and Im glad to see her finally come back…only to get shafted once again because Johns and Didio have a hardon for silver age books. So of course we get Babs back in the bat girl suit completely ruining her last 20 years of development. I trust Gail Simone to make the best of it, and Ive read her comments over on CBR but eh…I don’t foresee this going well at all.
Also BATWING?! Seriousl DC Cass fans have been hurting for years now and you’re giving a monthly to the guy who showed up for a page in Batman Inc and did **** all of nothing!? You’re screwing with us on purpose now
reboot reboot reboot cant wait.
@shinkuuR - Yea completely agree about Oracle.
As for batwing, yea well see…how this goes lol.
DC Stuff I got:
R.E.B.E.L.S first trade (I heard good things from here and otherwise and always loved the Legion universe but am confused where to dive in, this seemed the easiest and most interesting).
Flashpoint #1 and #3 (I only had #2).
Batman: Knight of Vengeance #2 and #3.
Batman #713.
