i’m in agreement with the last few issues of detective comics being great. i don’t feel very many bat books besides the various graphic novels that i’ve read, but the last 2 issues were good shit.
Dini’s Bat-run > Morrison’s non-existant Bat-run
Morrison’s Bat-books have been pretty fucking late. I haven’t seen a Batman book on the racks in like, 2 months. I swear.
No more Joe Kelly on Supergirl. It was pretty good. I wonder who’s writing the book now? It could only get worse now.
All Star Superman is just too fucking good. God, this book needs to come out on time more often. Bizarro ftw. Definitely one of the best Bizarro stories I’ve read in a long time.
Action Comics wasn’t too bad. I’m kinda digging the Johns/Donner stuff. This is what Superman Returns should have been. Too bad the scheduling of this story is kinda whacky. Now it goes from the current issue and book to the annual. WTF? I just hope they stay onboard Action Comics for some more quality stuff.
DC has to step their game up. Sinestro Corps is still too hard to top. Even last week’s Countdown was pretty lacking in the story front.
SRK has more Marvel fans because of the Capcom games naturally.
But like just about everyone on this site loves the DCAU cartoons, except for some people who only watch anime lol! It’s very rare you see DCAU hate at SRK when opinions on Marvel cartoons are all over the place. Marvel and DC Movies, well… no 2 people on the planet can agree on movies anyway. 
Yeah right now the DC thread only has a few less posts than the Marvel thread even though it’s lacking in overall views, it seems pretty even with Marvel having a slight lead. Lately the DC thread has been a bit more active than the Marvel thread due to Superboy Prime stuff, Didio’s second teaser image, etc. Helps somewhat that there’s a seperate World War Hulk thread too. But yeah most of the regulars on this forum read both Marvel and DC from what I can tell. So if you wanna talk DC come through no prob.’
About a DC Fighter - Well… when Rey Jimenez of Capcom USA was asked about the DC characters for Capcom fighters on SRK Radio Rey said he believes someone has the rights for them. Whether or not these are overall rights for everything or fighting game rights seems up in the air and his statement is kind of vague… still hope for good things. I hope someone makes a good DC fighting game down the line.
Morrison on Batman - Man it just feels like editorial is forcing everything he does. That whole Talia/Damian nonsense seems like it’s tying into his Countdown image of him holding that sword, hinting at Ra’s return… I did love his Joker-Book stuff though even though it took me like a month to read it… Morrison can’t mess with Dini’s Joker though but prolly no one else can either…

Is Deadpool really blatant ripoff of DeathStroke?

Maybe not so much a ripoff as a tribute/parody of Deathstroke. I guess when Deadpool was first introduced, he was just a ripoff. Similar costume design, similar name, similar agenda, etc. Even Deadpool’s name, Wade Wilson, is similar to Deathstroke’s name, Slade Wilson. So I doubt the creators (haha, Rob Liefeld doesn’t suck as much as people say) were trying to hide the fact that Deadpool was inspired by Deathstroke.
As the years have gone by, Deadpool as a character has evolved in a completely different direction, and it’s all come full circle. There was a DC comic last year featuring Deathstroke from an alternate earth who happened to be a parody of Deadpool. The issue was written by a guy who was known for making Deadpool one of Marvel’s more interesting characters. I love comic book incest.
I think Joe Kelly made Deadpool into the Merc with a mouth.

Out of all the Dc comics, “The Dark Knight Returns” by Frank Miller had to be my favorite.
I know this should go in the fanart or image mishmash forums but I wanted to showcase it here. It’s the mutant leader from the Dark Knight Returns.
I’m not a GL fan, but I think the latest issue was pretty good. I wanna know something; for the Hal Jordan fans…are you guys ok with Kyle being the new host for Parallax? Do you feel like he sorta “deserves” it for attempting to replace Hal back when Marz killed him off? Is Kyle being Parallax make you hate him even more? There were some things he said to Hal when he revealed himself that I think would piss HJ fans off. Like, I felt it as soon as I read them.
Sinestro Corps is really becoming interesting. Let’s hope DC doesn’t fuck it up 
I dunno. GL and Flash are 2 DC characters that are very hard for me to get into nowadays because DC has a hard time deciding who they are. I just follow them in JLA and that’s kinda it. I feel they should of left Kyle as GL and left Hal Jordan as Spectre but oh well… are Guy and John still GLs out there somewhere? Ack, confused…
GL and GLC are really good IMP, but the flash was a little bit too soon for bart to be playing. I like DC on the same level that I like marvel. I still think a red hood comic should come out. I am also enjoying the hunt for ray palmer saga. Is it just me or shouldn’t there be atleast 4 pages in this topic talking about batman confidential 7. I am not even going to bother posting a spoiler for it just go read it NOW!!!. The answer to the biggest question we have been wondering about.

I am really starting to hate Wonder Woman first it was the part where she forces superman to let supergirl get amazonian training, then she is practically sitting down while the US and later the world gets conquered, and then ruining kid amazo’s life. I wonder if wonder woman happens to have a kid who is a boy which most likely would have powers, would that mean that superman would be obliged to train him? Oh well it looks like we will be finding out pretty soon anyway.

I never liked the whole “Hal Jordan flips his shit and becomes Parallax”, and neither the “let’s fuck Kyle Rayner up the ass with Parallax”…even though it’s quite twisted in itself.
I never hated Kyle…infact I really liked the chemistry w/ Wally West.

Guy and John are still GLs. Guy is in Green Lantern Corps and John shows up whenever he’s needed, like in the current issue of GL.
And Kyle was ‘meh’ as a GL. Hal ftw. He’s just that much cooler. He defied the Guardians and that was something I found appealing. Not like Kyle’s “how high?” attitude. He just took orders when they were given to him.
That issue sucked. If that’s the Joker’s new origin, then fuck it all. Alan Moore’s origin was so much better.
