Blackest Night was fantastic the only major flaw was that I feel like Geoff Johns overdid it with his favorite characters, while Scarecrow and Barry Allen were fantastically done as deputy lanterns for their respective corps, I feel like Superman has the ability to inspire greater hope than Barry Allen. Would it have been cheesy? Sure, but I feel like it makes more sense. Also Dick Grayson might not be Bruce Wayne but Batman is pretty scary considering he doesn’t kill people but still villains fear him more than heroes with powers.
Pretty lame complaint, but it I did find it cool not having the trinity run roughshod over this event.
Not that the Blackest Night is over let us prepare for the Brightest Day, and the Return of Bruce Wayne, and a new Flash series, good time to be a DC reader
@ds thanks for clearing it up, didn’t know that. Though TBH, and mind you I haven’t read infinite crisis, the way they retconned Maxwell into a villain just doesn’t sit right with me, though it’s prob. because I’m a fan of the 80s Giffen JL
@SONY- IIRC some titles will be part of BD but afterwards they’ll prob. just continue with their own stories.
All Star Batman And Robin from Miller and Lee will return as Dark Knight: Boy Wonder with issue one slated for February 2011. Issue 2 is slated for February 2045.

I don’t think there are a lot here who like Ed Benes’ art, but he did do art for the first Birds of Prey story by Gail Simone. So I’d recommend that if you’re interested ^_^;

Yeah Robin controlled by Deathstroke vs. Dick Grayson Batman should be coming up. And yes Talia and Deathstroke made some kind of arrangement but it might not go any further than Talia knowing that Deathstroke hates Grayson and she just wants him to be killed in the worst way possible.
