Damien is growing on me too, at first I just hoped he’d get killed but I really like the way things are going. In fact the Dick-Damien Batman and Robin duo has been a lot of fun so far.
I know its old but i just read GL rebirth and it was awesome. If the rest of the series is anywhere near this good im sold.

Can’t say I care that much about a Huntress and Man Bat story. But mainly not picking it up because I’m cutting back on a few books. I’ve enjoyed what Dini has done with the series though but I’m sticking with Batman and Robin + Tony Daniel’s Batman run for Bat books right now. JLA too since Grayson Batman will join that team. I’ll give it a try when he joins at least.

Super-Hero comics tend to have a very funny way of portraying Race. Being Latino I’m happy that I don’t see too many Latinos in comics because they ALWAYS get them wrong.
I have nothing against integration, hell I’ve dated outside of my race. But most people date and marry within their own race. If you look at comics it’s rarely portrayed that way. Everyone can’t get to wait to get into bed with a Caucasian.
At least they let Black Panther marry Storm (despite the fact that the marriage came out of NOWHERE but at least it happened). Vast majority of Latino in comics can’t wait to take off their pants to get in bed with a Caucasian. They don’t even try to build up any kind of relationship like Cloak and Dagger, it’s pretty much “Hey what’s up come home with me!” :wasted:
No Latino heroes, thanks. I know they will get screwed up eventually. See Renee Montoya, a Dominican Lesbian who only dates Caucasian women? I’m Dominican and I’ve never seen that in my entire life. I’m not ignorant to say that there isn’t someone like that because anything is possible, but this has to be EXTREMELY RARE.
And an extra triple NO LATINOS ON AMERICAN SOAP OPERAS which have an even worse depiction of Latinos than comics! We have our own Soap Operas that are 1,000 times better than yours thanks. :arazz:

On that Batman Brave and the Bold cartoon Blue Beatle had a thing for Huntress so… If that’s any indication of where the character is going someone let me know when he hooks up with Ravager in Teen Titans. :rolleyes:
