DBGT sucks. No im serious its pretty dang bad.
In my opinion…DBZ was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than GT…The only reason why I watched GT was to see the story continue…Other than story (which isn’t as good either) everything else (again in MY opinion) is shit…
The only thing good about DBGT was the final episode, Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku (both the Field of View and Zard versions), and DEEN’s Hitori Janai. The rest of ANYTHING associated with GT is best left alone.
nope…ki attacks are absorbed thats why i said he might be top tier. its kinda fuckedup really.
Found that out along time ago…but I only found one combo vid…I’ll go back and try to find more…
More thoughts? Impressions?
I played all three previous DBZ games via a rental and beaten the story mode pretty easily. I never gotten all the special cards, moves, etc but is this game any different? How many hours of solid gameplay will this provide?
I’m not in a huge rush to get it but I would just like to know more about it.
Oh, dammit…[Cartman]Sons of bitches, sons of BITCHES!![/Cartman]
Just picked up the game yesterday and i’m liking it so far… it doesn’t just feel like a rehashed game with a couple extra’s. Budokai 2 and 3 were kind of like that, but they still ended up keeping my intrest minus the minor additions. Kind of like the Tony Hawk games; they come out every year, and add/change very little, but still end up being pretty good games.
One thing I have to point out though, is the lack of a system link option for two player matches.
As soon as the game was first shown a while back, I had hoped that this would be a feature. The Armored Core series on ps2 and I believe Virtual On 2 on the DC had this feature, so why not this game? The view point of you’re character is similar, but I can’t speak for anything else because i’ve never played any of the games in those series. I think it would have been a great addition to this game, and would have really spiced things up in the multiplayer aspect. Oh well…:bluu:
Anyone else with me on this?
Okay, I’m thinkin about buying this but after browsing the GameFAQs boards, I’m noticing a TON of complaints about it.
I liked Budokai 3 a lot and I’m a decent DBZ fan myself. Do you guys think it’s worth 50 bucks?
Hell yeah. I don’t have any complaints, but that’s just me. This is the best DBZ game there is IMO
i bought it yesterday, i played it for 1 full night and i unlocked everyone and bet every saga but the last one, i had to fuse purple gems to unlock everyone els after… but i dont get it, every other saga is at 100% and the gate wont open… can somone help me out?
btw… ssj4 gogeta is amazing!!!:wow:
i brought it two days ago and its the best game ive played in a while. i have tk5, cvsnk2, sf3, narutimate hero 2, and marvel vs capcom 1,2. this is by far the funnest game ever and i can see lots of play time in the future. i also see future potential in this being a top fighting game. with lots of depth
Can you take off auto-focus/aim in this game? Or does it like stay locked on, in a 2-D type plane.
no, but you can manually do it with r2 i believe and it doesnt auto scan. you can turn off the radar with the select button. hmmmm. well i guess that would be it, but i dont know if not having the radar on, stops the auto scan. matter a fact. I DONT KNOW SHIT. IM JUST PALYING THE HELL OUT OF IT AND HAVING FUN. maybe i should actually look through the book. the auto scan is irrelevant for me, so fuck it.
why play without it? so you can both be randomly flying around all day looking for each other. while ive been playing it. i barely even pay attention to that thing.
all jokes and retardism aside. this game feels like your playing a live anime or something. its a real 3d game and its dbz. im serious everyone. i play alot of fighting games and by far this is appearing to be the greatest ever. especially since the a.i isnt a piece of shit. well not yet, because i still kinda suck, but they still seem way more formidable then most other fighting games. which is what ign said too.
anyways. its good. my post probably makes no sense and you should go buy it.
Does the japanese intro have a song, or is it the same “wannabe dark and dramatic” instumental as the american version’s intro? Japanese DBZ games usually have songs in the intro…
I believe the song in the Japanese version is an updated rendition of “We Gotta Power”
Me bad want vid. Here some for you all.
Son Goku vs Freeza Freeza curses! Woot!
Videru vs Kame Sennin (Videl has ki blasts?!)
Jinzoningen Super 17 vs Jinzoningen 16 JS17 is one cheap bastard. Xmen COTA Magneto wannabe.
Menu browsing, and Super Saiya-jin 4 Son Goku vs Super Buu…twice
game seems pretty cool, but still… in a video game series where special move viarity is hard to come by, they sure are missing a lot of moves. Woulda been nice if they encluded stuff from other games, like the final kamehameha, dokuhoha, maybe that one goku move from hyper deminsion that ends with the spirt bomb… Sure maybe it would look wierd in the game given what this game is, but it still woulda been cool to have something like it somehow. Im sure the earlier 2 coulda been done. oh well…
beat the game today…super 17 is a beast
worst level in the game was when u have to face vegeta in his monkey form…fuckin annoying
