Hogosha, did you ever decide what the site fee was going to be for sure ($1, $2)? Also are there going to be pot bonuses for the games as indicated on the first page? If so, where would the money come from, what games have the bonus and is it for first place only?

I’ll throw a $20 pot bonus on 3S, GGXXAC, and CVS2 (singles). And maybe ST (if not $20, then close). Possibly another $20 for 3rd Strike. AH and MVC2 got added afterward, so I don’t wanna break myself TOO badly. Also, it’s for 1st place for anyone outside of Dubuque, and the pot bonus comes out of my pocket.
My current address is outside of Dubuque, so I am holding you to this one.

Wow. That’s mighty awesome of ya. We’ll have to be sure to bring our A (S) game. Was it ever declared how/when we much determine the order for our team for 2v2 and 5v5? I assume it would be a double-blind pick style. We could give our pre-determined order on a piece of paper to a “judge” of sorts who calls out the matches?

Comic World normally closes on Saturday whenever the Magic booster draft is over (usually 8:30-ish). The owner said he’d stay open until like 9 or 10 or maybe a hair later, however long it’ll take for the tourneys to finish.
does anyone have a tv they can bring for all-brawl, and/or a video camera to record dem matches with?
I just wanted to take a moment and wish all my fellow iowa players a good time and good games this weekend. I hate that im not going to make it to something as rare as a tourney in my home state, but 70 grand in damage to your house thanks to three feet of raw sewage flooding in (gogo city of west des moines for neglecting it for a week) tends to put a rushdown on your wallet and free time.
I will make it to an iowa tourney someday i can assure that, unfortuantly it just wont be this one Enjoy the weekend gentlemen, best of luck.

I appriciate the support fellas. The city is actually entirely at fault thanks to their negligance of my phone calls for 5 days saying “hey fuckos, sewage is coming the wrong way into my house, fucking fix it!” once mine and 4 of my neighbors houses flooded they got off their lazy asses and put a camera truck down there to find a construction brick (yes, like a cinder block) lodged in the line. Genius.
It’s taking awhile but they are paying for everything and then some since they are owning up to it. Still my basement was my office/entertainment area. So i lost my desktop along with tons of old game systems (2 nes’s a snes, my dreamcast, etc. etc.) so im pretty steamed over that. Once i get a nice fat city check with my name on it i’ll be hunting down lots of game replacements on ebay haha.
