What is this state vs. state talk? o_O
Well, at least in 3S, we’ll probably have enough from WI, IA, MN, and IL for 5-man state teams. For there, it’s up to all parties involved to decide what to do. It’s rare that we get this many Midwest people together, proficient at the same game, and a Versus Cab to play on.

Never done it before…I sincerely doubt most places could get five different characters (unless you’re Iowa, then you pick severely fucked up characters), so I don’t know if that should be a rule or not. Other than that, the only other thing I could think of is either having it be round-robin like Evo 2k2/2k5 Japan v USA or just doing it like a Team Battle from the Tekken/SC console games where you just pick an order. Like the match Humbag and I still gotta play where I take his money. (Kidding, I’m gonna get rocked.)
Yeah, for 5x5, there shouldn’t be any characters limitations ala Evo2k2 3rd Strike USA v. Jap 5x5.
EDIT: So if you don’t know how to fight a good Ken, Team WI is gonna ROCK you hord.

LOL naw, just a decent sized house. mainly banking on people not minding sleeping on the carpet. But if you are one of the people sleeping here, please try to bring your own sleeping bag/blankets/pillows/whatever. We have a few blankets and stuff, but not enough for everyone. You can use what we have, but if you come without and theres none left, tough luck for you.

State 5v5s? Alex, mike, olli, me and who the hell is our 5th gonna be? Shouldn’t have any character problems, at least. We are going to get killed, though, I haven’t been playing for months and I was showing these guys whats up this week.
keela-if you do get the 2nd board, we should consider having 2 3s setups. We can make sure anyone who needs unblockables plays of the revision A board, and that way we can get a lot more 3s events rolling.

Unfortunately, attractive girls and Dubuque are not something that go together. The asain population (hell, anything other than caucasian) in Dubuque is pretty much zero as well. You’ll find this is true in most places in Iowa, although there are always exceptions to the rule: IowaCity, Des Moines, Ames, Quad City area, etc. Iowa is not very multi-cultured. :shake:

Iowa City’s asian population is out of control. Just about every one else in my apartment complex is an attractive asian female.

Yeah no joke when went to school there it was insane, not exclussive to Asians either in that city.
