Edit: Finished it. It was alright. I mean, good editing, etc. but it seemed to be lacking a lot. Hopefully the final cut will have more…umph, more feeling. It seemed to really lack…direction. A final point. Established goals/feelings.

I think you and I have technically said the same thing. It’s a great film (technically), but it lacks the ability to establish compassion. However, it is the “first of its kind” (to get the kind of attention it is getting, versus “Bang The Machine”) so I think the film serves as a great template for better projects to come. It is also a very impressive short cut and the demand for the film (especially for the extended cut) is phenomenal 
Time to donate to the fighting game charity once again…

Yeah there was some funky people there. Hygene aint top tier in the lives of some people i guess.
There was some dude there that was just watching the matches and didn’t play in any but he smelled like vomit. So much that I looked on the floor to see if someone had thrown up on the ground. It was that bad.
That’s the kind of shit that makes all of us gamers look bad…and I guess smell bad too.
Seriously though…The rest of the normal world knows how to shower every day. I don’t understand why some people just can’t figure it out. Most of the people we battle with seem normal…most, not all, of you…you know who you are. @_@
I missed it. I saw Away We Go with some friends. It was pretty good, but I don’t know how many people on here I would recommend it to. If you’re a film critic, go see it I guess.
But other than that, what’d I miss at AL? I heard Jason played BB. Was that there or someplace else? (Not really a big deal to me though. I can wait until next week and I probably won’t play it too much day-to-day.)
Also, new rule for drivers: don’t take someone if they haven’t showered. If you get to their house and they’re smelly, leave without them or wait. Don’t know who was at fault, but I don’t think I’ve been to a tournament yet where everyone smells nice. Or maybe AL staff can hand out a bar of soap to smelly people to embarrass them in public and make them not want to show up smelly.
Also, how did Focus Cancel go? Any news?
Jinmaster, Antwan, and Ali Vegaz showed up at AL after FC ran. Antwan won FC, Jinmaster placed 2nd.
Apparently FC had a small turnout, small enough to end before SF4 started at AL around 6.

From what I hurd, jinmaster started drama with AL staff at the tourny. Classy.
Its easy to smell nice on the drive to the tourny, but 13 hours later all bets are off.
I wanted to see Away We Go. I’ll check it out sometime.
We’ve all played BB at least once because there was only one station in the back that had it setup. There were also a lot of people wanting play, so the rotation was long.
Antwan also took 1st in SF4 at AL, but JMS was knocked out I believe. Keith took 2nd, Derrick Legend took 3rd (I forget who he was tied with though). I’m not sure if JMS started something with the owners until they realize who he was. I’ve only caught Josh Queen and JMS discussing what went wrong in the FC thread. Jeremiah had also issued a threat to ban JMS from AL if he badmouthed that place again…
I think the heat had something to do with the body odor. I’ll probably bring some febreeze or something…
