Quentin, you asked for examples of top players who aren’t arrogant. I gave you a couple. Most Japanese top players are actually as good, if not better than Justin or Yipes. I didn’t mean to put words in your mouth, but I’m really confused here. First of all, when most people present a command in this structure: “name me ONE example of (X, Y, or Z),” that person is issuing a challenge, because they believe that no such example can be named. If I believed there were no green fruits, I might say “name me one fruit that is green.” Why would I say that if I already knew about limes, watermelons, and apples? The command itself doesn’t explicitly say I don’t believe in green fruit, but if I’m telling someone to name one in an argument, it would be silly to say something like that when I already admitted to their existence. So if I was putting words in your mouth, and you were not asserting that all good players are arrogant, then it’s only because that interpretation is the only conceivable reason you would say something like that. It doesn’t help your argument, or make any sense for you to say “Some good players are arrogant, but some are not.”
Umm, actually, it’s not like somebody saying you’re the best GG player in Dayton. At least Zach plays 4. It would be like somebody saying another GG player in Dayton is better than me. If somebody said Fred or (white) Nick was better than me, I’m not saying I wouldn’t have a problem with it, but I would consider the possibility, and just try to beat them convincingly next time I played them. And you know what else? I DO take advice from them. You’ve asked me for advice in BB. Does that mean I’m a better player? I hope not. I would not do what you are doing here. Arguing who is better without significant, convincing, 1 on 1 video evidence or historical record is silly.
And guess what: if Amanda doesn’t know what she is talking about, then everyone else knows it and will ignore what she’s saying. It’s when you start blowing a fuse that people start to think that maybe she hit a soft spot, so you’re really doing yourself more harm than good. So you see, it is precisely when you KNOW you are better that you don’t have to worry about speaking up. No offense to her, but I don’t think anyone on here would take her opinion over Adam’s or somebody’s.

Maybe I wasn’t clear enough. You are actively scaring people away. It’s not just a passive “not helping things.” You are actually discouraging new people from coming on here. They don’t know who you are, but what if they’re actually pretty good, and are afraid of you reacting like this every time they beat you. If I thought this was all Dayton was, I’d just stay out.

Maybe I was exaggerating a little by “every” time, but if you argue that it’s never happened before, or that it’s only happened once before, or that it’s only happened 3 times before, you’re mistaken. You also need to look up the word “comparison.” Saying one thing is better than another IS a comparison. Also, you get mad at me and everyone else for putting words in your mouth, but where does Amanda say she’s hugging Zach’s nuts? I’ve looked at the last few pages and haven’t seen it anywhere.
Well, I’m going to make myself not happy arbitrarily because I can control emotional responses to outside stimuli. Also, I asked for short, concise, and logic. I’m not convinced I had any of those.
Lee, meter exists to keep you from spamming the best moves all day. Would you like to play a game of 4 or ST with infinite meter or revenge? I don’t think I would. Of course it depends on the game, but I always have more meter than I know what to do with in BB. I guess you need extra incentive to beat your opponent now? I don’t think I do. If you use counter assault with infinite meter, mixups will never hit anybody ever, because mixups rely on block stun in BB. Negative penalty is a good thing. Imagine all of the keep away characters that already dominate being even better.

Not to mention I dont this guys name but nick told me today , that at the BB 2v2 the one guy who plays carl was a complete ass hole to nick after nick lost. well technically it is , but when one thinks of the word comparison they think of “compare” considering its a key in the word “comparison” Meaning you potentially compare more than one thing when technically making a “comparison” Not to mention “nut hugging” is being implied by whenever you around them or just they way she acts and the things she said for that matter.

Juri looks like she could be a Pullum rip off or a Kim from KOF rip off. Why call a character your secondary when you know dick about her move list? She could totally suck ass like 1/2 of the new characters introduced in 4. So many people assume they’re going to “fix” this game, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
well adam im notorious for that. When I first saw arakune (without seeing his moves I said he was my main. When I first saw abel (without seeing his moves I said he was my main) When I first saw alex I said he was my main. I play charcaters that I like. Not if they suck or not LOL. I very well could be a tier whore but id rather not. The characters I usually always choose suck , so im just gonna go on and say she probably will be shitty. But im still playing her XD

First off quentin, I never said he laughed, he just said “not really” and then left, which I found to just be rude.
And the reason I’m leaving is because it’s not fun playing in this community. A few of the people I like, like Pope Temmy, Lee, and a few others, and they know that I’m down to game with them.
As for the rest of you, maybe I just don’t know you, but I have no urge to go out of my way to play games with you guys. I would honestly much rather sit at home and play by myself, because at least then I don’t have to read drama between everyone, everytime I log onto SRK.
That being said, yes, I’m leaving, no, I’m not quitting my gaming, I’m still signed up for SB and I’m still planning on going to AL every once in awhile, just so I can get to know the guy who works there and he can shed a tear whenever I leave. All in all, I just don’t wanna be a part of Dayton.
So I decided that the HQ downloaders for the Mixtape would be in for a real treat I sample a video clip of Actionhank executing a simple combo link to an Ultra in the corner and did some color correction. I wanted to bring out certain details and strengthen some of the colors (without blowing it out of course) to enhance the overall picture quality (I know…blame it on me taking Photo II this quarter…)

I mean, I used To [[HATE!]] someone a while back because he was a threat to me at anything I played. But it turned out that we had a lot in common and became good friends before he moved away. He is 1 of the main reasons I am as good (or as bad) as I am today. Not that Im fantastic at anything. But I try.
What Im saying is, dont be threatened. Dont Hate. You never know. Competition can get heated but there is no reason to try to kick someones dick in the dirt over a video game. EVER.
Be mindful of your thoughts padawon, they can betray you. And cause you to look like an ass in front of your peers…

Alright, since I was asked earlier on this subject, I am going to be looking over some things this week in regards to extra space in my hotel room at the Red Roof for Season’s.
I will then try to see how much space is available. I plan on bringing a couple of camping cots I have to save people from sleeping on the floor, and maybe an air mattress. I realize it’s not going to be The Ritz or anything up in that bitch because its just there to shit, shave, shower and sleep inbetween the fun but, still.
Not to be that guy but I might ask for maybe a couple of bucks, if I do at all from anyone who does crash there, but I doubt I would really need to. It’d be cool cause it would pay for food at the venue and all but eh, I think I’d feel like a real prick if I did that so I dunno.
The main point I am trying to get at is anyone who has talked to me about such arrangements should have their answers yay or nay this week.
Hey, what character(s) do you use? I’m always up to play offline but I live in West Carrollton so that may be hard if you don’t drive.
