3rd’s only good Mirror is Dudley/Dudley. Mirror matches are just dumb in general, but 3rd’s and GG’s are the most watchable I’ve seen of 2-d games.
as for SF4 rumors…if they’re going to take Gen’s Chains away, why would they give Dudley his? Gen plays so stupid in SF4 when compared to his Alpha incarnations mainly because they got rid of his chains. So I hardly believe Dudley will have any of his crap, and he’ll just be watered down like every other none SF2 char.
BB Changes are far more interesting imo. The closer that game gets to being balanced, the more new stuff they can give the chars till they might eventually not pale in comparison to GG chars.

TBH I would be happy with any revision of SFIV that makes the non SF2 cast not seem so hacked together or rushed. Maybe they’ll revise how the game plays a bit and bring everyone more in line with everyone else. (lol almost as unreal as any of the other rumours amirite?) Any changes to that won’t be seen till it’s actually announced. (Is it even announced yet where are these rumours coming from?)
I’m really looking forward to seeing how different the two versions play. It seems like they are changing some seriously significant shit. (for the better probably)

If the non SF2 Chars can be solid versions of themselves, then I might attempt to learn it again. I just never much like the SF2 cast.
I was sure Arcs would put some good work into making BB more balanced, because they’ve done a solid job with GG balance over the years, whereas Capcom’s best balance job is 3rd Strike…

3s is pretty bad balance wise but I think it pales in comparison to Marvel and somewhat to CVS2.
well definitely , Im interested in seeing how the BB changes fix this game. Then I wont be seeing n00bakunes online spamming shit. They wont be able to do mindless playing as me and fred talked about and actually have to learn him. Im sure that will quickly turn them off of arakune.

Arcs knows how to use it’s game iterations properly and to the best of their ability in balancing a game, so when they add new stuff and new chars it actually fits into what they were intending to do in the first place.
Capcom uses their iterations to try new things and add a crap ton of new chars…and THEN they try to balance as fast as possible in the late stages of development.
Whatever they do with this Super SF4 TURBO ULTRA HYPER EDITION 2ND IMPACT…It wont’ be any better balanced then SF4 was.
It’s just not at the top of Capcoms agenda to balance a game out.

So far, all 3 of you are on it, and game footage of all you guys will potentially be included. I don’t want to feel like I have to choose screen time (That’s right…I went there, lol).

Quentin: First off, you’re my brother, so you know I’m not afraid to be honest with because we are cool like, no matter if you like my opinion. But that’s just it…it’s an opinion. If you don’t like Amanda’s opinion, you are not obligated to dispute against it, even if it is about you. Like Jason, I also saw this coming a long time ago and I probably should have said something before to potentially keep this dispute from happening. You’re right, no you don’t say that you are better than everyone, but you cut it awfully close. Choose your words (and your grammar, lawl) wisely. No you don’t have to hold back from what you say, but you need to understand and clarify where you stand on certain issues because all I see is denial. The rest of us stand confused about you because you would refuse sharing tips with each other was Amanda’s point because that’s what fighting game communities do, no matter which one is “weaker.” Zach has tricks he’s good at. You have your tricks that you are good at. She does have a point that you do make some excuses from time to time and I think everyone will agree. There are times where you blame the arcade stick, push the wrong button, whatever your attitude, etc. You need to fix whatever you have goin on in your personal life (and we’ve had this discussion before about personal lives…) because the fact of the matter is homie that you are raining down on parades. In other words, you are taking it out on the wrong people everytime, so you need to guide your anger another way. Personally, I’ve never heard you say anything good about his Abel…just that he needed to work his mixup game/Nash needed to be more offensive. If I’ve missed that you’ve said something good, again clarify it for me. Trust me Quentin, if you place top 5 in a major, then that will make your argument stronger in this case. For now, none of us have placed high in anything major yet, so I think none of us can make credible arguments in that respect. We (as in the rest of the Dayton/Nati KY fighting game community) all love and respect you, and your competition as well as your contribution to the community is just as important as everyone else. Seriously Quentin, just work on being a better person and respect other people’s opinion.
Amanda: I won’t lie…you started it here. You know Quentin is a hothead and he will get upset the fastest. You know this. Try not to inflate anything. Just prove your point and leave, that is always the best way to clear an argument. I respect your contribution as well, and that is why you are potentially in the mixtape as long as I can get footage of you. I think it is a little insulting to be “Hatin Dayton” sometimes, even if everyone is just joking around. That’s not something we should be proud of as competitors…

Zach: Watching matches of yourself is the key to improvement. In a match, you are concerned about winning or that one combo that you pulled off so clutch…not the rest of the time where you play like ass. lol. I realized that too and that makes me a better SCIV player everytime because of that. Pretty soon you will be paying more attention to your match AS your playing so you can record the whole thing in your head. I have new Tekken matches up on my page and you can bet I’m looking at them now. I’m glad I won, but I played like ass. lol. If you two decide to do a FT10 foney (fight money) match, be my guest, I won’t record it because that sort of hostility is not needed for the mixtape. If you guys decide grow up and leave it be, I think that is the much better solution
