Kam: Would you be up for a dedicated 3D YT Channel for our match videos? You know along the lines of TekkenGosu and HongKongTekken. We can share the log-in and password so both of us can use it to upload videos and stuff. I am asking you because you are the other match recorder.
So far, yes. But I am not entirely sure how often we will have 3D gaming sessions that I will be able to attend often. However, I am pretty sure that is the only thing that stands in my way…executing it would not be a problem
Zach: I remember you saying that. Do you know which version it is by any chance? I’m not having any luck getting FCP to work on my laptop because it wants to quit the application before it loads all the way up. My guess now is that I don’t have the RAM to run it…
If push comes to shove, the school has a 24hr MacLab with FCP on it. I’ll just have to take my lazy ass up there to do the mixtape there. Capturing footage is going well though, I’m feelin the stuff recorded so far. I’ll be capturing all weekend.
Mario: very clever ideas and I hope everyone will use them to their advantage. There’s nothing wrong with doing some espionage.
For example:
“hey (insert name of guy you are playing) I have a outube channel (you may be lying and you definately aren’t if you’re nathan) and I’d love to put some casuals of you on there…mind if I film?”

Zach: you will not go 0-2. And yeah, you do get really animated when you mess up. This is a big weapon for your opponents. I think you need to practice being chill. And also I think you go too deep into what you’re trying to do. You over think what’s going on.
Last night I noticed Derrick was just sitting back and being chill. (Daughtry will do that to a man). And everything he was doing was somewhat simple (from my point of view)
Also when you have the life lead you should just sit back and chill and turtle. Counter everything your opponent does when they try to get in.

Derrick has the turtling down when he gets the life lead. He can keep you out all day by just watching and waiting.
Just practice being chill and calm. Don’t let anything show on your face. Have fun. When you start flipping out you get tense and then you’re no longer fluid. Your motions become more jerky and less smooth.
Derek’s power level is hard to read. He doesn’t do anything flashy or difficult most of the time. He’s just always in the right place somehow. He’s better than me at SF4, so none of this meant to be insulting.

Oh and yes, Derrick. Derrick is the master of the mix-up in all games he plays. That is why he is Cincy’s Golden Child of fighting games. He is at home in 2D and 3D, something a lot of us can’t say we are.
It was ok for the simple fact im sure nash was not prepared for alot of that stuff. Nor did he punish them the right way.
Where as I KNOW for a fact someone else would punish them the right way , just seemed like nash didnt know that matchup. Where as someone who knows it better would have fucked him in the ass everytime he tried some unsafe over compensated for mixup , and for the simple fact zach was able to do unsafe things and go unpunished.
I know first hand from my first tournament when I had to fight chickenfat and ghaleon in 3S , they single handedly made me change my whole game that day and Ill never forget it. Which is why I have to play ghaleon everytime hes around. To prove something to myself about my skill level. The other two people I played in that tournament were ok players and they fell for my same few tricks. But, when I had to play ghaleon and CF… they caught on to my bullshit tricks REAL FAST. Not to mention I payed for it dearly everytime… oh hey guess what ? obvious high parry into free denjin setup and 65% life gone.
Like when he played me he ran the same 3 shenanigan-mixup and I caught on to it real fast, and what I happpened I punished him for it hard everytime. To the point he would just sit back majority of the time. Because I neutralized his main “focus”

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift. I dig the name. Seems like some significant changes to Arakune and Rachel as well. And at Versus City I saw that Nu’s health is going to be 5000. I’m not up on the BB health scales, but I’m assuming that’s insanely low.
Quentin is right about that Nash fight though. It’s not as good as it felt, watching the video. But that’s the thing, it’s easy to sit and watch a video and understand what’s going on but mid-match its entirely different. Also, i’ve improved a LOT since naptown.
And I mean no hate at all about anything i’ve said, I am focusing on continuously improving my game despite using a character that may not be as good as ryu or sagat. I like his style, I like the way he plays, and that’s really all i’m currently interested in…weak matchups and all.
