Red Arremer had been talk about on this board for MONTHS before he appeared in Ultimate and Capcom already said the fan requests played a part in the characters that made the cut.
You’re saying Lupinko was right, when we knew all along if we got more characters many of them would be (and ended up being) the most requested ones.
Firebrand, Frank West, Phoenix Wright and Strider were some of the MOST requested characters. And I myself along with a few other members were rooting for Strange and Vergil. Wheres the surprise?
What I am saying is Lupinko dropped dozens of “hints” and people picked 12 that they thought were the most consistent with the reveals. It doesnt work that way.
It’s just curious how the list doesnt leak until the games get closer to release, he’s getting his info fed to him the same way he’s feeding it to others. I’ve learned to be skeptical to people on the internet. Saying he predicted the roster in ultimate when maybe 9 of the 12 werent surprises is just silly.
So what’s your point? Just because the characters aren’t surprising doesn’t mean he was wrong or anything. I don’t understand what you’re trying to prove with what you’re saying.
Except he came out and said he was giving out too many random things and narrowed it down to like 7 direct hints involving characters, and they did add up. Before the leak his clues added up to
Strider
Phoenix Wright
Firebrand
Dr. Strange
Pretty much for sure.
Pretty much the only character I would have put a 100% on with or without clues is Frank West, because everyone knew how close they had to finishing him the first time around. The others we had guessed but kinda back tracked on because we weren’t sure. Firebrand’s name may have come up, but he was hardly as highly requested as you’re making it sound. Phoenix Wright is another where I think we all knew he was requested, mostly from TvC, but it’s kinda surprising they actually thought there was enough there to make him into a viable fighting game character. If not for Lupinko’s track record I certainly woulda called BS on anyone saying Phoenix Wright was for sure in the game.
It’s doubtful Lupinko knew Capcom would fuck up with the website images quite so quickly, so he may have intended to riddle other characters more closely. We’ll never know, and I really don’t care. The clues he clearly marked as clues, and not his random BS, add up to the characters too nicely, saying he’s 100% trolling seems the bigger stretch.
My point is listing a bunch of clues that could be anyone isnt really doing much of anything but getting people worked up.

He was right about the characters we already knew were shoe-ins and for the others there a loose association to make sense. Out of all his tweets you pick 12 that you think makes him the savior of MvC3.
When are we getting the other 8 characters, since the all mighty Lupinko is the only one who knows? Does he only care about leaking character rosters?
He came out and told us what hints referred to which characters and he even confirmed Arremer on Gaf.
The jello hint was magical, jello which referred to Cosby who is most known for playing a doctor plus the two tweets before which everybody thought referred to Rival Schools which were further references to the doctor. How about you PM lupinko? He is Superking here.

I’m just not so easily impressed. If he was so right we would have had the roster after the tweets instead of getting the roster from capcom then people put the tweets together to make sense.
You arent getting it so I’ll let it go. By the time the DLC characters roll around and we get some vague Psylocke, Scarlet Witch, Ms Marvel, Gene, Asura, Gambit, Namor, Sigma and Megaman refrences I’m sure it’ll be “lupinko” was so right!! All over again. The last real reveal that Lupinko gave was Super Street Fighter 4. But after that, its just been common sense more or less and everyone is shittng bricks. Its annoying to read every day.
We had figured out at least 5 characters for certain through his hints way before the official leak. The Strider and Phoenix Wright hints were extremly obvious and had no room for second opinions, and once we had all of Firebrand’s hints we were certain about him as well.
And people tend to forget that we already knew for months that this game was coming, and he was the one that leaked that info.
I’m not trying to dickride or anything, but I gotta give credit where it’s due.
Right now Poison is literally one of the least likely characters, she’s been a highly requested character for a fighting game for some time now, and one of the selling points for SFxT without it being full of SF4 characters.
Que? Lupinko had nothing to do with SSF4, that was Kensk.
His last roster he leaked was MK9, before MvC3, he told us that this version was coming. We figured out a good chunk of the roster due to his hints, missed some but whatever.
We could have new info as early as tuesday, gamescom starts on the 16th, they may have a new build with some new characters to play as so they may want to reveal them just before.
i ve got a feeling we may get gambit/psylocke/cyclops/x-men news (maybe dlc/hidden) after the x-men destiny game is released…maybe capcom promised certain character rights to them until the game is released in september… also this maybe true for other spiderman characters with his new game too? so after sept we may hear new news? hidden extras?
