Datel Arcade Pro + CWB203A?

I’ve seen tutorials on this board concerning modding of my arcade stick (Datel Arcade Pro - as far as I know it’s paewang pcb) and decided to replace the buttons with the ones made by Crown, but I messed up and ordered CWB203As instead of CWB203Cs. Will I be able to install those CWB203A buttons into my case and pcb?
I bought these items:
CWB203A Black x8
Paewang Button Harness
CWB203A Rubber Nut x8

Will there be any difference in soldering in comparison to CWB203C?

The main difference is that the CWB203A are snap-in buttons and can accept .110 quick disconnects, while the Cs are screw ins and need soldering.

You’ve actually done yourself a favour getting the snap-ins - the harness you bought is not compatible with the screw in buttons.

One thing though - the snap-ins do not fit the case snugly on their own, but the rubber o-rings you bought will fix that.

Thank you for your help. I would like to ask one more question though.
If I understand correctly the harness I bought already has those .110 quick disconnects, including grounds, so the only thing I’ll need to soldier would be the male connector of the harness to PCB and I can just attach those .110s to pins on the buttons?

Which means the whole mod would be:

  1. Take apart the stick
  2. Put buttons into the case, securing them with the rubber rings
  3. Soldier male connector to PCB
  4. Put female connector of harness into the male connector
  5. Attach .110 disconnects to the buttons
  6. Put the case together
    ?

Correct. Further soldering may be needed if you want to put a JLF in there, though you can get away with splicing and qds.

One last thing, sorry if I am asking too many questions.
I couldn’t find any review for the crown buttons. How is their quality?
WIll I feel that much difference in comparison to the stock datel buttons?

Crown buttons are superior to anything the stock Datel stick has.
In most respects I find that Korean push buttons are kinda similar to Japanese buttons.

With the rubber nut I think they will stay in. I’m not totally sure if a quick disconnect can fit on em though.

Sorry about bothering you all again.
First and foremost - please don’t laugh at me. Like I said earlier - I bought the Button Harness to make the installation of buttons easier.
I have just received my package and am kind of unsure if the buttons are really compatible with the harness (description on eTokki says so).
Is it the right way to connect buttons with harness or should I solder buttons’ pins directly to the wires?
PHOTO - pins and wires’ terminations are held together just by the rubbers.
