Yeah the Smart Bombs one makes an awesome CLUNK sound every time you land it which fucking owns but the airdash one seems tons easier.

Umm so like I got down the krispy but I don’t see it being very viable during a match and I’ve never seen anyone land it during a tourney. Is it the exarcun more consistent and if not what is the combo that people use in tourneys because I don’t seem to see much alukard sexiness since he plays him on anchor and all joker ever does is reset with repulsor blast and then do the day 1 combo.

Definitely air dash version. Only way you’d drop it once you get it going is if you start to tune out or something. I could never get the smart bomb variant until death but the air dash version I was able to learn so quickly.

Krispy Kreme is like a donut or something I agree why would you do that as your combo? Just raw launch all day mvc2 style confirm into your coolest air dash combo and if it gets blocked just slap the other guys hands or something.

Make sure to also Do the Dew and the more extremely spacing dependent L Smart Bomb relaunches your combo has the cooler it is!

IM’s got no way to confirm from a far range cr.M other than assist call>st.H>L Unibeam. Krispy Kreme isn’t without limitations, but it’s still got like 3 times the effective range and frame advantage of a wild cr.M>S swing.

Unibeam xx Proton cannon or if they are outside that range Unibeam xx Iron Avenger.

He just wants these new players to practice creativity why do the same old bnb every Iron Man does when you can do airdash and flight and L Smart Bomb relaunch and get a cool 680k puts on shades

I feel enlightened didn’t know that IM had so much trouble confirming sorry danke and bleed and everyone else. I can see why yipes says he’s ass.
Then so is the ultimate variation of the krispy kreme the best because I’m confused as to which I should be using and I only bothered to learn that one.

I don’t think IM’s dmg output is why many players call him ass, it’s his mobility. Imagine how much easier it would be for IM to land a bare cr.M if his ground dash weren’t so constrained, or how his air normals would be more abusable if his air dashes were faster.

The KK is also good because if you find yourself in a position where the fly j.Ms whiff, you can instantly unfly H which will tag the opponent and quickly put them in blockstun so that you are safe.

I was referring to his lack of ability to hitconfirm but yeah his movement is ass.

His poor ground mobility is a bigger detriment than his air movement.

I completely agree. If he could immediately cancel his ground dash into a block or a normal attack he would be a much better. character.

So I want to talk about air to air combos for a second.

I’ve pretty much practiced everyone’s variation of the combo, and they all have the same problem: in many cases, the opponent will not be carried down far enough for the jump loop, c.M, S to catch them. The damage you get for landing the whole thing is over 780k, which is impressive, but the safest bet I feel is to always just drop them on top of a L Repulsor Blast, like Danke showed in a video awhile ago, the height and spacing becomes a non issue at this point, and although you get significantly less damage (710k), consistency in combos is what matters in this game.

Then again maybe I’m just doing these combos wrong, but I’m following the notation EXACTLY and in many cases you just can’t carry them down far enough. Maybe I’m doing it wrong, but I’ve practiced these enough I doubt that’s the case.

Then you have the other one, which is j.H ADDF j.H xx Fly, j.M, j.dH xx ADDF j.dH xx unfly H, j.M, j.M, j.dH, j.S, c.M, S, j.M, j.M, j.H, j.dH, S H Smart Bombs Proton Cannon/Iron Avenger.

Both have the same problem, at least for me, for being inconsistent for the c.M, S at the end. Maybe I need to delay certain parts?
