This weekend, Cincinnati’s ArcadeLegacy is hosting its Darkstalkers: Death and Rebirth event! Tune in to http://www.twitch.tv/arcadelegacy tomorrow (11:00 AM EST) to watch some of the nation’s finest Vampire talent duke it out over team battles, character specialist exhibitions, grudge matches, and rookie and vet tournaments, as well as various side tournaments including SF Alpha 2/Windjammers/GGAC+R. More details can be found here:
Events like these for Vampire are rare, but with your help, we can make them a common fixture in the US fighting game scene.
Can anyone tell me whose speed the game decides to use when online? I have mine set to Turbo 3, but when I’m in a room with more than 4 people, sometimes the games are at normal levels and some times the matches are turtle slow.
The thing is if they really wanted to add that function they should of made it a selection on the lobby set up but using the default is fucking lazy and is genuine complaint.
Also, when I brought it up to someone that worked there. “You’re only 2% of the buyers” is what I got as a reply.
Oh that has to be the worst excuse I’ve ever heard for not doing anything, because they’ve already done a ton of stuff only 2% of the buyers will actually care about. And I don’t think I even need to list any of it. Yeah, they were just really effing lazy on that on that front, which is a tad bit ridiculous.
So, is Resurrection dead already? I’ve been trying to play online on PSN and there are 0 people playing this game.
So much begging for Capcom to release an arcade perfect port, and when they do, nobody plays.
I’m starting to think that what Sven said a few months ago was correct…
Maybe they hoped that a release would bring new flesh, making bigger Vampire’s community. We can’t say Capcom made a lot of efforts to make these games more appealing to newcomers, but was it ever possible ?
I’m not playing online much, but I guess everyone has gone back to GGPO.
Rotanibor is doing a side tournament at Evo only Fapanese confirmed are Hitani and Nekohashi.
I wouldn’t call it an arcade perfect port it’s a good port of the ps2 version with some features taken out. There is having the Fetus of God stage part of random select they should of used the random stage values the characters. Arcade perfect wouldn’t have sound issues. No Input Lag(That is an issue with current gen systems though). Projectiles hiding on certain stages.
Trying to get the second loop on BB Hood’s dash combo. I start by D(dash) st.lp-c.lp-st.lp, D+st.lp-st.lp… Do I do another dash from there or dash again after the dash lp to continue into the second loop?
Cmon, as much as I doubt current Capcom’s ability to make a true quality sequel to Vhunt/Vsav, I would still want to see a new DS4 made.
I’m just glad they pulled off their petty bullshit and awful gameplay/bugs in SFxT and not a new DS4. Hopefully they’ve learned a lesson or two how not to fuck up your games and ultimately losing fan interest (SFxT).
It seems like they were going to make a new game, though. Does everyone remember that “Darkstalkers are not dead” teaser trailer? I guess they quickly stopped development after they saw the sales for Resurrection.
That Capcom is projecting the interest of DS4 from sales numbers of an obsolete re-release of a 16-18year old game that barely got any coverage?
So like if DSR sold really well then they would consider development of a new DS4? It’ll be released in 2016 if they started now.
Also I can’t log into Disqus to post on the frontpage article of this topic. wtf is going on
