My favorite game between the two is Savior so I only went through a few. The challenges remind me of the character trials in SF4, except this has the benefit of having the demonstration along with an explanatory text. It’s good that extra effort was put into this, I think people will find it helpful.
Same here!
So far I’m not liking the tutorials though. There’s no way to going over the demonstration once you start (pressing select in most games is what does this). And if you exit, the game doesn’t take you to the tutorial menu but the main menu. -_-
How convenient! I was planning on using the training mode anyways to learn the unblockable since I’m terrible at the MAME ghetto training room business.
It just shows you one way to set it up, not a whole series of them. The tutorials seem more of a general overview on the character rather than an in-depth one, but I think they’re good in that they cover the important aspects and might give folks who have no idea on how each character is supposed to be used a good starting point.
Haven’t been on SRK for a long time now so had to make a new account since I don’t recall my old one from years ago.
Playing Hunter, being I never had a chance to play it with it being a Saturn exclusive and owning a PS1 instead, grrr CAPCOM why you do that?
But yeah, just got it tonight with 4 hrs into it, playing Hunter and am open to Savior. Right now I’m maining Demitri. On PSN - Decepticonus.
Question - I’m mainly a 3S player. Is there anything you cannot tech roll out of? Like in 3S, you cannot quick recover from all supers and some EX’s. I f’ed around in training and it doesn’t seem like it but can someone confirm that for me, please.
Will we have a matchmaking thread? Dustloop doesn’t seem to have one at the moment. Still not sure about buying this game, because I have too many. Don’t know if I want to buy the physical copy from Japan, because I don’t know if the local players will be interested in playing this for casuals (They mostly prefer SSF4 and UMvC3).
