I liked Victor’s origin and once again the art was great. Felicia’s X-Mas carol was cool too. And Rey’s Mini, LOL! Can’t wait for Sharknife!

Great issue! I love how the story is going.Not rushed and smooth story telling. Victor is so awesome and the fight between him and donovan is going to be sweet, until,of course,Donovan realizes that victor is one of the good guys.

I don’t want people to think I’m sadistic or anything, but the funniest part was when the professor had a heart attack and Victor and Emily thought he was sleep, took him up to bed, and he decomposed for months.

Victor looked so sad when he said he didn’t like the sheet. This issue perfectly captured Victor’s child-like nature and demeanor.

loved the issue

I loved this issue … I’m having trouble imagining the sound of victor’s voice when he talks though (i use the voices from the anime for the other characters and victor was only in the intro to the anime). Victor was always one of my favorite characters … I just wish he “dispatched” those darkstalkers with 1 hit each. I kept saying in my head “you stupid villagers … they explained why they were there … they needed help … DON"T YOU SEE THE BENIFIT OF HAVING VICTOR AS A FRIEND!” … but NOOOoooo they had to make enemies … bad move villagers … bad move.

The art is incredible as usual. I was however alittle disappointed that I’m still yet to see Victor get into a “real” fight … but i guess i shouldn’t rush things huh? My next fav. i want to see show up is (SP) Sien Ko(sp).

The back story was cute but i like the way you do the street fighter back stories better … with explaining some of the origin of the characters. Like show their birth … you kinda did that with DOnovan and talbain but felecia’s was more of a funny moment than extra info. Demetri’s was good … it was like a “meanwhile …”. I need info on alot of DS fighters … i never followed the story much.

Have you considered doing like Marvels Ultimate series does and introduces alittle of the character at the start or end of the comic? YOu kinda did that with SF#0 … and it was nice to have … but it would be extremely helpful for DS. Especially if you diferenciated between who is a DarkStalker and who is a NightWarrior and who is on the line of undecided.

Although Victor isn’t a character I particularly like, I thought this issue introduced him well. He and Emily currently don’t understand the concept of death, which fits right in with them being manufactured beings. I also like how they are protectors of the town, even though the townspeople don’t know it.

I like how the Pyron star was appearing larger and the flower wilting when showing the decaying process of the doctor. As usual I enjoyed the great colouring in the book.

Back story was cute, but I still think the space could be better used to extend the main story when a back up is done by the same creative team.

Yeah, after reading(&re-reading)this issue, this part of the arc was a mix of the Hulk,frankenstein, and edward scissor hands rolled into one.

The hulk: for obvious reasons,his personality for exaample. Was he really that inthe game?
Frankenstein: in the old movie frankie met alittle girl and made her drown by accident. Although its not what happen in the comic,but i love how capcom and udon made a parody of it making the girl his sister.
Edward scissor hands: Ken sui chong must have use the plot from that movie and made the subplot for victor and emily. Here how’s it goes: the professor finally made the componet that would make emily complete,but before he could install it he croaks. Leaving both children incomplete

Keep doing what ur doing Ken and can wait DS#5 and SF#14 :tup: :karate:
