Check at the very bottom of the page for the match vids.
Sorry if this should be in the Video Gallery section, but I believe it’ll ‘attract’ more members if I posted this here.

Didn’t know anyone still played this, especially with Vampire Savior being as good as it is, but it’s an awesome history lesson at the very least.
Man, the guys at Mikado play EVERYTHING. I could swear that a couple of days ago they were playing COTA or Alpha 1.
They even played SFIII 2I
Awesome, thanks for the link.
Morrigan throw loop is too good. Plus I posted this in the Vampire thread in other games. But oh well whatever FG accepts.
Soh has all the matches uploaded on youtube for those that dont want to DL the direct files:

Original Darkstalkers had some funny systems… Automatic/mandatory ES moves, limited amount of time to use a full meter before it vanishes… Nice portrait art, though. Looks very similar to the portraits from ST style-wise, maybe the same artist did them?
Just noticed Felicia’s jumping HK doing 2 hits… don’t remember it doing that in Hunter or Savior.
Aulbath had a crouching overhead if I remember correctly…
That was the weirdest shit I ever saw… I remember beating my brother a lot with that shit because it was so weird.
Original Vampire was a pretty game. The backgrounds hold up today.
^True dat, the Darkstalkers series had some of the BEST visuals in 2D fighting games during that era.

Haha, C. FIERCE!
That is the shit I am talking about lol. It hits overhead.
That was some high level play and I was impressed. I really thought that Vampire Savior was the only game from the series that still got shown love like that. The site also had some Darkstalkers’ Revenge matches that were intense as well.
Whoa, the way the sword slash nullifies fireballs looks really badass.
