Isn’t the crystal mixup kind of situational anyways? With the swords TP you’re guaranteed at least a 2 way mixup 90% of the time (unless they’re in the corner), and without warning. Unless you count swords themselves being active as a warning 
Vergil can teleport behind you in the corner as well.

Outfit 1: Blue & Black, standard.
Outfit 2: Black with a silver trim. And I’ll just say it right now, he pulls off the black trenchcoat look FAR better than Dante. I mean honestly, who wears a black trenchcoat with camo pants? Stylish & Viewtiful my ass…:rolleyes:
Outfit 3: Ode to Nero, nice. And I love the Powder Blue look for Devil Trigger.
Outfit 4: Anti-Vergil. Almost necessary to add it in the game…
Outfit 5: Awesome! I was always a sucker for the white & red look (ever since Bison rocked it in Turbo.) Kinda wish they’d made his shirt & pants either white or red, but it’s cool nonetheless.
Outfit 6: …and the Capcom Trolls strike again.
Bottom Line: I’ll probably use No. 5 & 2 the most. But Vergil’s definitely looking more stylish than his twin…at least until Dante’s new duds are put on showcase.

PS: thinking back to the guy saying the teleport mixup isn’t as good because he can’t air>air teleport, it probably doesn’t matter, because its a good bet swords don’t hit overhead anyways
For Vergil’s color alts
I’m using Normal and Vante. Maybe even Nero Vergil simply because of the detail they put into it.
I hate them teasing us with referencing Dark Stalkers some more and Talbain isn’t in the game yet >_<
Unless I’m misunderstanding your post, I’m pretty sure this is false. Dormammu can teleport into the air and then that up with more teleports. Like Wesker, he can air teleport up to 3 times I believe. Now, I don’t know what that means for Vergil, but its possible.
EDIT: Phoenix too, and her teleports are closer to Vergil’s than Dorms

Yeah, it’d make sense if he could air teleport. Like he can in DMC3, jump, and Trick Up, etc. I’m hoping he can since it’ll really lower his combo option if not, but hey, maybe that’s what spiral swords are for, guess we’ll have to wait and see.
By the way, I’m liking Black Trenchcoat Vergil, and the original most, maybe Vante. Definitely rocking the original most since he’s my second favorite character ever, as is, period.

Guys just deal with it,some people will always defend vergil regardless of the fact… like those phoenix defenders when mvc3 first came out… time will prove everything,when you see vergil in every top 8 matchs from any tournament from any player all messing with the same tactics,you’ll get it.
really liking vergils alt colours, i most likely will never use his default version,
im really hoping theyve done some good stuff with dantes alts as well i was not keen on any of his old ones apart from the classic red.

Not true, Dormmamu can teleport multiple times in the air, I’ve done it with Stalking Flaire + behind teleport mixups.
I know exactly what i was talking about,and i don’t even need a backup theory for that.time it self is the only key to prove anything,just be patient,the game is not even out yet.
