Sword Crown is a variant of the Spiral Swords the swords appear and rotate of the opponents head.

That move is called Sword Storm.

What if the person tags out when they have the swords over their head?

that would be some stuff if the swords stay with the person tagged out and when they are called as an assist they get hit by one sword and go back.

From the UMvC3 stage special, turns out Vergil is fine doing Maximum Bubbles in the air or on the ground.

I dont think vergil has very good synergy with dante because both of them are meter hogs.

Viper and Dante are two big meter hogs, but they’re one of the best pairings in the game.

This is what you do. You put Dante first, Vergil second, and a battery third. Build up three meters with Dante, which is one combo, and then when you get the chance, Devil Trigger DHC Devil Trigger DHC whatever. Now you have Vergil in anchor position with his buffed DT assists, Dante in second ready to take over again/regaining hella life, and your third up front. Chances are, by the time Dante KOs, you’ll have 4-5 bars ready for Vergil. That’s when you activate Spiral Swords and start doing crazy shit.

assuming Vergil’s combo potential/execution barrier isn’t as high as Dante’s and thus less likely to flirt with HSD in combos, you should be able to DHC out of Maximum Bubbles (which I think is a hard knockdown, explains why it takes forever for the opponent to get up) into DT with Dante into combo video of your choice. that’s already a point towards potential Vergil-Dante synergy.

dante is like the least meter dependent char since he builds 2-4 meters depending on combo/assist availability lol

If you know a tag is coming, I would argue that it’s easier to block high and punish than commit to a Rhino Charge which could get fucked simply by someone delaying their tag, or messing up and actually calling the assist. I don’t see any benefit of using Rhino Charge to punish an obvious hard tag honestly.

lol did you guys see that Vergil’s level 3 lets you combo after it? it puts the opponent in crumple state and since you’re out of DT mode, you build meter with the followup combo. crazy.
