So yea just recently dealt with an anchor vergil who hit me with quite a few sword crowns, my question to you vergil players is how does one deal with these? I know if you raw tag out they disappear, but is there any other way to deal with them? I know if you hit vergil before he puts them over my head they disappear, but other than that is there anyway to deal with them? I play trish/sentinel/hawkeye if anyone knows some character specific stuff.
If youâre super jumping the swords donât track properly. They also go away if you kill Vergil, snap out Vergil, or put Vergil in an animation super
Oh ok, I didnât know that they disappeared if you put him in an animation hyper. Makes sense though. Sucks my team only has lvl 3âs as their animation hypers, but hawkeye usually has 3 bars by the time he comes in so Imma go learn some 4 hit lvl 3 combos.
The super jump one seems a lil hard to implement in a match though since your gonna have to time your super jump such that your in the air when the swords come down, but just having the option is good for me. Thanks a lot man.
How good are drones with Vergil?
Dorones are good with everyone, but personally, I donât like Drones with Vergil. Vergil doesnât really do the best job covering assists, so he tends to favor direct, faster sorts of assists.
Plasma Beam is amazing for Vergil, try it.
Anyway, I did something by accident while playing online, and I havenât been able to do it again.
Maybe it didnt happen the way I thought it did.
I did a square jump with C while on DT, and I could have sworn I saw it hit on the back, and then land on the front (reminded me of KOF crossups).
Anyone has had this happen???
It probably can happen. Some characters like X-23 have cross ups that cross you up but their body stays in front of you. Vergilâs sword has a really strange extension for a hit box that could probably make that happen.

What is the best way to deal with a Spencer player who super jumps and uses his diagnol zipline thingy to come down at you? My friend always used the horizontal one, but once I smartened up and realized you can throw him out of it, he switched to the diagnol one and Iâm having lots of trouble stopping it with Vergil and anyone else really.

What are you guys doing vs a really jump happy Wesker? I feel like air control is Vergilâs weakest aspect. Any tips?
- Intercept in the air with j.M.
- Super jump back and throw round trip so they canât do whatever they want.
- If you are using hidden missiles it can cover heavy teleport pretty damn well.

âVergil in DT gets to join the raw tag technology collective. Apparently DT speed boost affects his taunt after raw tag in combination with his normals being faster. Can work off of Heavy Gram/Bon Voyage in case your teams werenât abusive enough. The way I found it though was DT (for invuln) DHC Rhino Charge into Vergil raw tag. Comboing off that ends in a cool 730k (900k if you spend another bar for swords). The derp get derpier.â
That round trip glitch is awesome. I donât know if anyone does this, but I found that the easiest way for me to keep my charge is to double tap your button for the normal you want to cancel as you release your round trip then immediately press the same button that you were charging. I.E. I hold down M, make contact with st H by double tapping H twice, release M then press it once again. This helped me a lot. Now must work on doing this in a combo @_@âŚ

None of his air attacks have this ability?
Itâs any normal with Yamatoâs blade. J.M is actually pretty tight.

Havenât tried stinger, but the general pattern seems to be that his main sword cuts projectiles, while the one on his back doesnât (forgive me for not knowing their names, I havenât played DMC <_<).
Anybody know the durability on judgement cut? Iâve canceled plasma beam with it so I want to know just how much durability this move has.

I disagree with sj back round trip. It seems like round trip coming back disappears at times when you think itâs going to hit your opponent in the back, it passes right through them. Sj in this game leaves yourself susceptible to air throws and cross unders. I prefer to stay grounded. Donât use round trip as a defensive tool, but rather something that sets up your mixup from mid screen+. For Spencers rushing you down, their zipline will interupt the startup of roundtrip making you lose your charge while they come flying at you.
The reason round trip âdisappearsâ for you is cause you blocked a hit and negates the swords hitbox.
