Okay, I heard about this mess and looked at the DP interview garbage vid the Clock VS DP and the Shady VS DP (which DP wow btw…).

I don’t think much of Clock or DP (I’m neutral…) but people on Gamefaqs MVC2 board are saying that DP’s EVO record is better than Clocks plus it seems like Clock hasn’t gone up against any S/D Trap breaking teams (Cammy, Cable, Sent, etc…) at all since 2k2 according to Preppy’s vid collection and all the Youtube Vids that I saw of clock.

Anyways, it only seemed like DP wow that Shady match by luck plus I saw that Mike Lee snapback perfect vid is this stuff about DP having a better EVO record true?

Some of DP stuff that I saw on youtube was good but there seems to be a lot of hate for this guy (at least here the opinion on Gamefaqs is that DP is better than Clock period regardless of DP trying to use Scrubclops as a trap breaker…).

And did Clock train just for that MM against DP?

They make it sound like Clock did Rocky Balboas routine…

If EVO North is full of trash talking clowns like that interview I saw with DP I just might stay local…

DP does not have a better Evo record. Clock has made it to the top 10 at Evo 3 times already.

And again, I dare you to try any of these “trap breaking teams” against clock or any other decent strider player, especially ones relying on camy AA. We’ve already seen it. We’ve fought against it. We’ve learned it. There’s a reason why nobody else with a gameplan does that shit against clock anymore.

Here’s the first post that started it all.

I’m really conflicted about this. Don’t read this as a flame post, this is just how I honestly feel.

DPC is way better than Clockwork, yet, I wouldn’t call clock a ‘washed up’ old veteran, but he definitely is not on the same level as the other high level players.

As George Foreman says, there is no shame in aging… and it really showed. DPC has not matured his mindset to become that of a champion. Additionally he is inexperienced. Those two factors, are what cost DPC the match.

DPC obviously did not research or prepare (properly at least) for a S/D matchup.

When I was watching Clockwork own DPC I wanted to scream in frustration because of how gimmicky the match was.

Cable/Sentinel/Cyclops (especially starting cable first as other people already mentioned) is a horrible, HORRIBLE, pick. In fact he essentially counter picked teams FOR clockwork.

Clock was cool as a cucumber while DPC was obviously breaking down. Congratulations clockwork, but if you played against someone of DPC’s level who actually knew what to do against S/D and didn’t pick retarded teams you would have gotten owned. I guess he has the right to gloat over DPC but… the next time they play, if DPC grows, he will steamroll him.
