I’d also say to pm preppy, even though most of his vids are marvel he can probably get you in the right direction. Maj, chen, nki, and some others would be good for technical feedback depending on what games this works for.

Watch Strider. He throw out a bomb on a bird which drops at full screen. It completely untouchable until the bomb actually drops so i renders Cable’s AHVB almost useless as it would just waste meter. Which apparently DP didnt learn after like 1000000 bombs hit him in the fucking face.

It’s a pretty stupid matchup, but I’m actually pretty comfortable with SD vs. SD. It doesn’t always necessarily come down to who has the better strider so much as it comes down to who knows the matchup better simply because when one strider has momentum, he can keep it for a very long time. And a worse strider can beat a better strider player if he happens to have his lockdown going first. A lot of times when I had this matchup, it has gone to time over.
True. Well wouldn’t that mean it relies heavily on strider then?? I know I dont play strider doom, and I mirror matched a strider doom player for money. My sentinel would beat his out easily then I’d lose to his strider/doom once my sentinel got killed or dhc’d out. Just cant make sense of the match up. Then again my lockdown isnt really good.
If both striders have reached a certain level, I’d say how good your sentinel is is just as important if not more important. When you killed the guys sentinel, you probably gave him 3-4 maybe even 5 bars. If you do that, you better kill strider when he comes in. Most S/D vs. S/D matches I’ve faced were not mirror matches simply because most of them I’ve fought was before I learned Sentinel/Strider/Doom. Also, the last real tough Strider player I played in tournament used Cable/Strider/Doom.
I think he was just trying to counter in cable, but kept fucking up [i.e. mashing the motion when nothing was being blocked].
That was a shitload of bombs. Damn.
