Why not just do the Thunderbolt loop after XF? it’s so much better than the Jam Session loop it’s not even funny. The only downside is it takes a meter for DT. After a hard knockdown on the last character or a character I need to kill I don’t even bother with Million Dollars. Hard Knockdown > DT > Million Carats > XF > Thunderbolts.

In an effort to not actually have to learn the timing for mixups after a grapple because I’m an ass who would rather press buttons than wait I came up with a setup to get a perfect meaty j.H. This L/R setup also lets you choose which side you want to hit them on despite the setup looking exactly the same every time. The dummy is recorded to go same side first time and crossup the second.

When the opponent rises it seems that they pass through crouching frames before entering standing frames. You’ll know your meaty timing is spot on when they’re hit and are put into a crouching hitstun animation. Otherwise they would have been able to chicken block.

First 3 playbacks illustrate crouching hitstun in regards to a perfect meaty. Then I start trying to chicken block.

In regards to the inputs, I’m crouch cancelling a backdash which I then jump out of into an adf j.H. Since I’m crouch cancelling I actually get a superjump which allows me to airdash much lower than a normal jump allowing for a faster mixup. A neutral sj after the crouch cancel gives you same side while a sj forward gives you a crossup.
