Huh for some reason I thought it was cancellable (I don’t use crouch taunt much), anyways they should make crouching and jumping taunts cancellable and no recovery on jump taunt. Also the gadou doesn’t need to be full screen just add more active frames and fix the hurtbox so his arm doesn’t get caught. And do something with his s.HP, s.HK, c.HP, c.HK they are useless ! c.HP at least has some utility but is only useful in combos, even then only safe to use on crumple opponent.
Actually you know what would be hilarious is if he had armor on EX gadou lol

They should make a special move where he leaps forward with a chop. He should probably chop with the other hand so it doesn’t look like a copy paste of cl.HP. Make it invulnerable to projectiles. EX version does 2 hits or something.
I think most of his super hits have a JP of 0, but then some have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 etc. I pulled of a super juggle after LK Danku -> 1-hit EX KRK xx FADC -> super yesterday, but I could only do it AA. Probably because the first juggling hit has a JP of 1. On a side note, also pulled of AA last hit of super -> js.MP :3

A roll would be nice… Hell even a taunting roll would be better than nothing.
Yeah anything. A roll would be good. Maybe some kind of arching leap attack like Chun or Abel.
I would forever be grateful to Capcom if they gave Dan a comical version of Ryo’s jumping Karate chop move. Another tool for Dan that references SNK in a humorous manner.

For some reason im better against shotos with dan.
Anyways, dan is my favourite character, i like his moves and his normals, its just that he seems to have low priority and damage sometimes. I know he is supposed to be a joke character but i LOVE using the knee, and the jumptaunt and gadoken :S.
He is the most fun character to play, if not the most frustrating. If they fix him up to be a bit more viable id cry in happiness.
If Dan becomes more viable, then he’s no longer Dan.
Dan at the level of Sagat, is more of a douche then he is the legendary harbinger of all things Saikyo. The only thing I would do that he doesn’t already have is give him a taunt roll, thats incredibly difficult to do, but alot like Abel’s.
A day where Dan can taunt, roll, runaway and cash all his chips on ending a round via timeout after only using one punch, is a great day.
Making him more viable does not equal to making him Sagat level.

I never liked when fans use this excuse to keep Dan as an F-Tier useless weakling. Nobody is asking him to become a brooding loner like Ryu and Sagat. He can still be a light hearted wisecracking SOB but let him have the ability to back it up. Look at Rufus. He’s got joke character written all over him yet he’s an A-Tier character.
But the very essence of Dan is him sucking. in every game. he is the personification of SNK and Capcom wants him to suck. They make him suck every game on purpose. it’s his job. To suck. As much as SNK. As much as KOF12. just suck.
Suck.
Then they should not put him any future games then. That is just a waste of a spot then.
